Or even worse, it is probably John snoring! After seeing that documentary, he certainly didn't seem entertained playing the same songs day in and day out.

Exactly. And wasn't 'Yes, I was outspoken.' added/edited later on? I think that's very significant. I don't think it was in the original version, but I am trying very hard to look that up now.

Found it. And I was right.

So yes, The Tower was definitely about the baby, but Goodbye Baby is about them both. And I'm sticking with it.

Are you being serious and stuff? I prefer that you not be.

I have always found that sampled baby's breath detracts from the symbolism and beauty of all my floral arrangements, too. I prefer to use Queen Anne's Lace.

Clearly it is not a real baby, Bobo. But, I think that was the idea the band was going for.

Shhh...now this isn't generally known, but for *certain songs* on SYW, Stevie, being the big I Love Lucy Fan that she is, dressed up a big hunk of Italian cheese to LOOK like a baby. She named it "Don" and claimed it looked (and SMELLED) EXACTLY like its father!

That certainly would make me fall asleep.

I too have always been under the impression that "Goodbye Baby" was about her abortion. Though I probably just read it somewhere on some possibly no longer existing website and never cared enough to find any real evidence to support it. Still, the lyrics do suggest that theory.

I'll never know what the big deal is... I've had four abortions, too.
Of course, the last three were just to tick off the pro-lifers.

I'm loving your signature. One of the few great tunes on the Hours album.
