Well, that's only the tip of the iceberg. Another thing he has is this count of how many days Matthew SHepard has spent in hell since he was murdered. He needs to be put to sleep, although I think thats too good for him.

People like that have huge issues and homosexuals are just the vent for it. I think they should get help before they hurt someone or their hate speech causes them to hurt some innocent person.

In almost all societies I can think of, there has always had to be a group to scapegoat. For America, it was Communism for a long time, with gay people behind that mania. Now that that is gone, gay people are at the front. Youy would think the terrorist would be, but they are not though they are the real threat as last I checked a man fellating another man hardly causes 110 story buildings to fall and thousands to die

technically I think people who bash gay people are more scared than anything. They don't understand it...don't know anyone (or is CLOSE with anyone) that is gay...and so therefore just brush it off as.."oh...well..they are evil and should be punished" . And sadly enough, I would probably be that way too, but a very good friend of mine is gay...so I am able to be exposed to more than just the "kentucky hick straight and narrow" (no pun intended) that most people think we all are. I try to keep an open mind about a lot of things. There may be things I don't agree with, or things that bother me, but it's other people's business and as long as it doesnt effect(affect??*L* ) me....I don't give a rip. Btw..I AM Christian..*SHOCK* and yes...you are all going to hell!! *LOL* (juuuust kidding...please dont' send the bomb squad to my house!! )

i'm sure people like pat robertson could find a way to tie those two things together! ::rolls eyes:: but you're right, there's always a scapegoat as long as someone or some group needs to be reassured of their own position. in order for someone to be on top, someone else has to be on the bottom (wow that sounds so sexual and i didn't intend it that way! )

I think a lot of people are like that, as you say. Now, I don't know what to say about the people who know some gay people and know well that they're gay and that they're not aliens and yet they still have prejudiced and hateful attitudes toward homosexuality. I don't know what else can be done for those people.
