Geez, you're like, the fifth person to complain! When I go home this weekend I'll put together a different sig! Or maybe I should keep it up because it's so offensive! By the way, relentless critcism of singers I love is supposed to be Homie's job. No one does it better.

I don't know why, but that rules. Wait, I guess I do know why.

1. I thank God on my knees that I do not live in America. And that while I don't even believe.
2. Opinions rule. I love statements.
3. The Ledge is not the same anymore without Carnevaca.

I think people with strong personalities, definite beliefs and tastes, in their posts show many aspects of their character, sometimes even some they're not aware of. I'm also convinced that people who aren't that strong and feel the need to be at any cost accepted in a virtual community find on internet very cozy masks.

About the other input (what sorts of posts you reply to, what sorts of posts you initiate, what sort of approach you take to extend the board zeitgeist, the signature you tack on to your posts, your screen name, the frequency or infrequency with which you post, &c. ) I see them as elements to understand more but they can also help to create even better and more fitting masks.

Internet communities are for me very disordered crowds, to take the good in them, you just have to start trusting or pretending to believe, as in real life when you meet someone new. But here the game is more visible.

Practice makes perfect!
I wasn't even certain who was in your avatar. I usually ignore the avatars anyway. I think they're a waste of bandwidth.

Nodding. I guess for us Dutch it can be a culture shock sometimes to witness the American version of free speech. Although, I felt a similar shock when coming back from the UK into our country and witnessing what we call manners.

Signature's what I meant. Actually, BILLBOARD's what I meant. I have NO idea why I typed avatar. Hillary, you've got no heart!

Thanks - I am still on a cruise in Alaska right now and had some free time - plus the rates for the sat link are cheaper when we are in port.
