[Miss Vicky]

I own about 400 cds, but a great deal of them are greatest hits/best of/anthology collections and don't really count.

I just took a quick look at them and these are the only non compilations that I could come up with:

Okay, the predictable choices to start with:

Walter Egan: Walternative (If you couldn't tell by the name of my website, I am so in love with this album)
Lindsey Buckingham: Out of the Cradle (I actually prefer the Go Insane album to OOTC, but "Play in the Rain" eliminates it from being eligible for the list)
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Southern Accents
Warren Zevon: The Wind
John Stewart: Wires from the Bunker
The Malibooz: Beach Access
And an honorable mention to: Fleetwood Mac: Bare Trees (If only "Thoughts on a Gray Day" wasn't on it. But hey, it's not actually a song so does it count?)

Some possibly unexpected choices:
Stabbing Westward: Wither, Blister, Burn and Peel
Moby: Play
Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts: Bastard Life or Clarity

[ryan8472]

U2 - War, Achtung Baby

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours, Tusk

Talking Heads - Remain In Light, Speaking In Tounges, Stop Making Sense, Little Creatures

Pink Floyd - DSOTM, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall

Stevie Nicks - Bella Donna

Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand

The Beatles - Srgt. Pepper's, Rubber Soul, Magical Mystery Tour

Dire Straits - Making Movies ( <3 )

Madonna - Like A Virgin, Ray Of Light (to some extents)

Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door

Lindsey Buckingham- [I]Out of the Cradle [/I}No Doubt- Tragic Kingdom

That seems to be it. It strikes me as odd that that list doesn't even represent some of my very favorite artists.

So what about y'all?

Haha...well first lost all that country! Haha....I agree about Out of the Cradle...also Rumours, and The Dance for me.

I have over 600 CDs so nothing is coming to mind right off hand...but I would say U2's Achtung Baby, Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever, The Beatles Rubber Soul, Goo Goo Dolls A Boy Named Goo
