I thought it was crap, and still better than The Ring, which I laughed at even more.

Even though the middle is a little weak the beginning and ending make up for it. I should also add that they are remaking the sequel (When a Stranger Calls Back) that was made for TV in 93 and I must say it was pretty damn good. Carol Kane was perfect for the original, I wonder if she'll make a candid appearance in the new one?

Any thoughts?

i can't wait for this, i love the original, cable has been playing it alot lately & i watch it everytime i can~ the sequel to it was also great, imo~ i will definitely see them both~

I thought the Ring wasn't too shaby, but I only saw it once in theaters. I remember coming out of the theater saying it was pretty good.

I agree Saw was so much better than the Grudge. Saw actually scared me after the movie was over and I was in the dark trying to sleep. The grudge just provided some cheap thrills that weren't even that good anyway.

I agree! The sequel was awesome. I just saw it a couple weekends ago, i was very into it and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen in the beginning and the end. It was very suspensful. I loved it and I am trying to track down the DVD. My cousin has the video so it must be out somewhere.

Who knows maybe Laurie will have powers like her brother?

I am happy they are remaking the Fog thats a personal favorite of mine. It was such a great idea but they didnt portray it as well on the screen as it could have been, so maybe this one will be better? Love the idea of the movie though.
Yeah, the Halloween movies have always been favorites of mine. 3 was OK if you don't think of it as part of the series. There are always rumors that character of Laurie will return. JLC said she didn't want to do any more, but she said that after PT. 2 also. Money talks! And really, we never did see her body. Sure she got stabbed in the back and fell about 3 stories, but it's a horror movie, so anything is possible. I have a feeling they will do 10 and then end it, and I think if JLC doesn't come back for this one, they will offer her a ton of money to come back for the last one because most fans of the series want her to be the one to have the final showdown with Michael.

I love The Fog also. I wonder if they were thinking of our own Stevie when they named the character "Stevie Wayne"?

Well the knife did go all the way through Jamies body so I thought that might have done it for her, but I think she might have secret powers like Michael, after all they were brother and sister.

When Michael was laying on the table he killed a paramedic and changed clothes. Michael walked off into the woods as the paramedic and the paramedic layed in the truck..........
