So for graduation, my dad said I could have a trip to anywhere I want. My brother went to Ireland and Scotland. Should this be my trip, with the nice ticket included? Can anyone tell me who has been if its well worth it? (I mean, I'll get to meet Stevie!!)

Well, I HAVEN'T been, but I'm positive it would be worth it!! I have always wanted to go, it just hasn't ever fallen at a great time $$-wise for me. I will though, maybe next year.

You should go for it!! This may sound odd, but Scotland, Ireland and places like that are always going to be there. Stevie will not, you know?

Our airport is pretty but it sure is expensive.

$500 round trip... before tickets and hotel. And if I were doing this, I'd have to have the meet and greet package to make it worth it. So I'd be looking at close to $2000 to meet Stevie Nicks.

Hmmmm.....

I know - Delta - OF FUC*ING COURSE has no free seats with miles and the tickets are $490 or so in coach. No wonder they are going broke. I DESPISE them most of the time, but I live in Atlanta, so what am I to do

I may have to skip this one too - no special guests- too soon after the Texas shows - $300 airfare. Doesn't seem to be in the stars for me....

I only need 3 more rapid rewards on Southwest to get another free roundtrip, but that's not gonna happen before Aug. 4th.

I totally want to go. I've wanted to go to the last two AHI benefits but didn't and I said to myself if Stevie does again, I'm going. I hope the tickets are still $1000. $2500 is a lot of money (so is $1000 but at least I was prepared for that.)

Me toooooo. I practically swore to myself I'd be at the next one. But I am so broke right now. I'd have to take out a serious loan, and I don't think I could justify that to myself.

Could I?

Unhappy Dang

If Lindsey is guaranteed to be there and if I was guaranteed he'd be at the meet and greet....I'd go. I hope we find out more soon.

Not to discourage anybody, but word to the wise. AHI can't guarantee anybody at a meet and greet including Stevie. Shows in the past have held meet and greets that disappointed a lot of people. If you donate with the expectation of getting any real face time with Stevie, or any of her guests if they have them, I would think twice. One year Stevie didn't stay, another year only she and Mick stayed even though Don, Lindsey and Sheryl were in the show. AHI doesn't always deliver at the M&G. Just so you know.

I have been to three AZ Heart Benefits. The first one (1997?) was a much smaller affair, not too many fans there, and there was a lot of interaction between Stevie and guests. The BEST by far was the first!

The second one, the meet and greet was held in the lobby of the Welles Fargo Bank lobby and that was a disaster. Fans were pissed because Stevie was on a stage and didn't interact at all. They were promised a meet and greet and they got NOTHING except for a nice gift from Tifanny's.

For the next one AZ Heart learned from their mistakes the year before and held it at Kincade's Restaurant and everyone got in a line to meet Stevie. Fans got anywhere from 10-30 seconds with her. Was it worth it?

Only you can decide if 10 seconds with Stevie is worth $1000.00.

I said I was going to the next one too but I wanted a full "Friends" show...this is going to be just the Gold Dust show with maybe, if we are very lucky, a guest or two. Chris Issack is playing elsewhere, as is Petty. Sheryl is over watching Lance and the tour will just have wrapped on August 4th. Henley...just saw him so I wont fly out for him. Lindsey? Mick? Probaby both will attend but will LB play?
I know many people will say "no no no that ain't so" but I think this is the last AHI and Stevie said she is doing this one to "honor" her Dad. (yea I know all of them have been because her Dad is on the board etc...its different this time)
