Wow - that's so depressing. I hate it when people pull the "good ole days" routine, but in this case it's true. My first Austin experience was for the Mirror show at the Erwin center, and partying on 6th St. afterwards. The bars/clubs then were like none other I had ever been to. And now, they're the same bars you can go to in any other city in the country (world?).

Then, the next day, we went to Hippie Hollow with hangovers.
