1) Do you believe in love at first sight?

Yes

2) If given the choice of 1 year in love with the man or woman you’ve always wanted, after which time you would be alone for the remainder of your life (or) 50 years in a good relationship, but with little passion, which would you choose?

The year in love - "an instant flash of light"

3) Describe your ideal mate. Have you ever come close to finding this person?

Funny, smart, and likes old cars and movies. Yes, I have had it inb spades - "but now its gone - it doesn't matter anymore - but when you build that house . . . ."

4) Do you believe in “it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all” or do you prefer to “play it safe”?

Loved and lost.

5) On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest), rate how important sex is to you in a relationship? Frequency, quality or both?

8 - mental connection is perhaps more wonderful, but then again, so is a drunken romp in the kitchen with some one you completely love

6) Have you ever written a poem or a song for someone you loved?

Many

7) Destiny has paid you a visit and introduced you to the man or woman you could see yourself loving for the rest of your life. The hitch is, he or she is in a relationship or married already. Do you go for it or move on?

"I'll take my dreams and my love - I'll go quietly"

8) Destiny has paid you another visit and introduced you to the man or woman you could see yourself loving for the rest of your life. However, you find out that this person has 6 months to live. Do you go for it or avoid the ultimate pain this relationship will cause you?

I would stay.

9) Put the following four relationship characteristics in your order of preference (1 being the highest, 4 the lowest): Communication. Trust. Wealth. Sex.

1. Trust
2. Communication
3. Wealth
4. Sex

10) Would you ever marry for money?

No - though if a Rockefeller comes along - ask me then

11) Would you die for the person you love?

Yes.

This reminds me of a discussion I had with a friend about 9/11. We both agreed we probably would have died because we would have gone into that building to help the people get out instead of running for our lives. So, I think that would apply to someone I loved.

12) Do you see yourself as a faithful lover or one who might be prone to stray?

Faithful.

13) How many times have you been in love?

3

14) How many times do you feel a person can love in a lifetime (with different partners)?

Many times.

15) Do you believe it is possible and even probable, to be in love with two people at the same time?

Yes - though I cannot see myself ever doing that

16) What is the one thing you must have in a relationship and cannot compromise on or give up?

Trust

17) What is the one thing you will not tolerate in a relationship?

lack of respect or lack of attention

18) Do you believe that saying or hearing the words “I love you” on a daily basis is necessary in a relationship?

No

19) Do you believe in destiny and soul mates or do you feel it is all the luck of the draw or random?

Luck of the draw - though I think we all control our destiny to a great degree.

20) How many soul mates does one person have in a lifetime? Have you found yours? If not, do you feel sure you will?

Yes - and they did indeed build that house - but I never went home

Readers Digest condensed version : Smart, Funny, Hunky, Grounded, Focused, Driven, Calm, Strong, Honest, Confident, Dark Haired and Eyed, and under 6' tall If I put together the best of two former boyfriends...pretty close.
Hehe. You described me. Though I'm not calm or grounded and I'm well over 6' tall. Oh well, let me sulk in a corner.

That's fine, because I hate shortys. I want to take someone to a nude beach who isn't going to be sniffing crotch the whole time.

I've been to one and I'll never go to one again. Old balls and droopy cooters don't exactly make those beaches very pleasant. I was horrified and we quickly left.

Ain't that the truth. And what is with large people wearing skin-tight clothes? I was in Target to get toothpaste today and there was a woman whose pants were on so tight she was waddling. Definite VPL's, too, and if she had farted, she'd have blown a hole through the ass of her pants. She would have been toast.

I'd rather die than go to a nude beach. If for no other reason than I would be uneasy about putting on suntan lotion on certain parts of my body. I'm a red-head, damnit, and we burn VERY easily.
