When I first heard it, I thought she said "I'm waited for in a jeep, it's just something I must do."

Doesn't she say "It's something like a drug" in the background at the end? And that's not in the liner notes? When I heard that, I was like, Now, why'd you have to do that? That was so unnecessary and you're threatening to ruin it!

yeah! if we're talking about the same part...just busted out the lyrics, as I actually have the album, and it says: (somethin like dying). Ha! (oh, the one glorious moment when I am correct...)

That is 100% what she says at the 4:01 mark. It's pretty clear. Before that though, starting at 3:56 she is singing something in the background, beneath the "love, love" backing vocals. That I can't make at all. So you could both be right.

I think so, because I think I'm remembering a different part when she says something like "something like dying." The part I'm talking about isn't so clear and I don't think it's accounted for in the lyrics.

What can I say? I *adore* the music for "Love Changes" and also the way she sings "It was not better for me" with bitterness just dripping from her voice. I also love "That don't mend the sorrow...or reinvent the pleasure."

Also, though I don't think these are brilliant lyrics or anything, they really apply to a relationship I was in at the time that I first heard the song--

"I wish I could figure a way around this
She says...like a sad song
I don't understand the way that I feel
I am terrified of being wrong
Well, I am not happy
And I am not crazy
Are you listening, do you hear
Everything happens for a reason
Stay clear"

So, it's personal for me. You know how that is. Sometimes we love stuff that's not all that great just because we have a personal connection to it.

imo, Love Changes is pretty decent.. it's totally listenable.. now "That made me stronger" is totally UN-listenable to me... that one line "can you write this for me, he said no you write your songs yourself" ruins the entire song... totally lame.. couldn't she just make it "can you do this for me, he said no you should do this yourself"? or something like that??

Oh, Brian. I'm going to spare you one of my epic posts about why "That Made Me Stronger" is a good song to me. I've written too many of those at this point.

Then the lighthouse starts turning and three plastic horses fan out and the firls ride them to "In Anyone Falls"

Seriously, I like the lighthouse line but the song is awful.
