Another possible tour date? - Page 3

I am in the "hissy fit" category. I don't admire the dude. I do not want to pay to see him. I really do not feel the reason behind this double bill is Stevie's "respect for Don".

In fact, that is probably pretty low down on the list as to "why" this tour is happening.

His music is ok, I prefer his music with the Eagles but if I wanted to see him, I would. Everyone has a right to their own opinions and if people don't want to compete with Henley fans for seats, pay out the nose for tickets to see HALF a Stevie set so be it. I will go because I love Stevie but I will not go to the ten plus shows I usually would.
So, more seats for you "Don/Stevie" lovers!

I agree with everything that Amber, Marissa, and Kelly posted.

I really do not want to have to compete with Eagles/Henley fans for tickets either. Not to mention that the price will most likely be higher. Why pay for something extra when you don't really want it?

I like Don's music with the Eagles and some of his solo stuff. I would rather see the Eagles together, however.

I am sure that Eagles fans do not want to see Stevie either and some of them can be mean, too. I really don't think that Don and Stevie have the same type of fans myself but I guess that the promoters think that they do.

I really would much rather see a Fleetwood Mac show and this double bill at this point does not really appeal to me. That is my preference. I wish that Lindsey would get a move on it and tour already!

Of course I will be there in Vegas, too. I doubt that D O N will be there. I hope that she does not have any opening act in Vegas, either.

I don't think in Vegas (unless you're a comedian), that you have an opening act--especially with a show such as this. I'd have to look it up but I don't think Celine and Elton have anyone on before them. It's strictly them for an hour and a half and then it's over.

As far as Don is concerned, as this tour seems to be more and more likely each day, it's looking as though he might show up in Vegas. Perhaps it'll be a bit of a trial for them in front of a live audience together. I guess we shall see either way.

I think that the Ceasars shows will just be Stevie and no Don. I think that Don's name would have been on the bill on Ticketmaster and on the tickets. That does not mean that he might not show up as a guest, however.

I certainly don't think it'll be a Stevie/Don thing in Vegas but I think the chances of him showing up and performing Leather and Lace or Highwayman are fairly great.

Don AND Stevie have both hit the same venues touring with their bands over and over and over. There is such a thing as oversaturation in the market and I fear that's what will happen with this tour.

Casino shows...blech. Expensive and generally not the greatest venues.

I agree. Don just did a tour last summer. The Eagles are on tour right now. At least Stevie as a solo artist has not been around for a few years but she has no new album to promote. The Mac have been on tour for the past 2 summers.

If you are not a die-hard fan of either artist who is really going to want to see them? If you are a major fan of either one chances are that your money is already gone from their previous tours.
