If your great personality here is anything like your personality in real life, those elderly people are fortunate to have you and you being there will make a better person later in life !!!!!!!

I agree. Old people make me really sad, though, but i would get tons of satisfaction from helping them.

I edit computer-type manuals (text books ) for a publishing firm. I usually get a chapter a day and I go through the steps as written, with the software/hardware, make notes on errors as necessary, and then submit a report. Sometimes it seems boring, another day another chapter. But I learn so much, every single day I learn something new. I wish my company would give me a degree for that! I got mine in psych a "while" back, hehe.

I hop online while installing stuff, when I have an easier chap that didn't take too long, or when I am just plain procrastinating (right now), hi Deanne, hehe

Oh and Amber, I feel your pain, I used to do admin work and the downtime drove me crazy. Sometimes there is downtime here but notsomuch right now.

This is an interesting thread!

I was under the impression that you were very young. But you must have a degree, right?

I think I'm two years older than you . I have a degree in Humanities (I think you call it this way) with a specialization (I have no idea how would you call it ) in Cinema and Theatre Studies.

I work at the franchise office for a St. Louis pizza Chain. Accounting work, mostly. Right now it's alot of year end stuff and W-2s.. Fun. Even more fun I I asnwer the complaint line and listen to people bitch endlessly about cold pizza. The rest of my days I watch cartoons, have tea parties and play play doh.

I have recently left behind the world of pharmaceutical market research in order to find something more in line with my English degree. So now I'm working as an editorial assistant for the editoral page editor of the local paper. I sort out the letters to the editor and the guest opinions and write a few editorials a week. It's cool, just wish I made more money!!!
