Mystery to Me! It RULES! So, where are y'all getting the Christine Perfect CD? E-bay? I just downloaded some of the songs online, just as I did with the Buckingham Nicks album. Y'all actually own those? That is very cool.

I got all of my Christine Perfect albums on eBay, 2 on vinyl & the import CD. They aren't cheap, especially the import CD. They can go for close to $100. The U.K. album on vinyl is also pretty expensive. But, the U.S. reissue on vinyl(The Legendary Christine Perfect album)is more reasonably priced.

Thanks for the info.

Isn't The Legendary Christine Perfect album supposed to be reissued in the U.S. again? Or was that me dreaming?

Not a bitter bone in my body, Homie. Life's too short. And if I was going to be bitter about something, you can be sure it would be about something far more important than what other people think about 'Street Angel' or "When I See You Again."

If I enjoy something, that's all the satisfaction and validation I need.
As I've said before, I honestly don't care if someone else loves a song/album or hates it... all that matters to me is whether I love it, because I'm the only person who needs to be pleased when I listen to it.

I might scratch my head in bewilderment that someone else can't see the beauty in it that I see, but their opinion of it doesn't affect mine in the slightest.

I was referring more to the political than the musical. I've never heard Street Angel. She lost me on solo albums after OSOTM. I tolerated Rock a Little. OSOTM pushed my ass over the cliff. Bella Donna is greatness(I insert that, #1 because I believe it; but also so you don't label me a basher).

Ahh... I get where you're coming from then.
Yeah, I was bitter for about two days after the election, but then that was it. Bush and his ilk are pond-scum and don't deserve to have that level of control over my outlook. Political regimes come and go... the political climate can shift on a dime... it's not worth it to stay bitter, we just have to keep working to make things better.

The production on 'Street Angel' is a little muddled, due to the troubles behind the scenes... but I was thrilled that Stevie was back to a more straightforward sound.
For my ears, 'Wild Heart' and 'Rock A Little' were a great mix of traditional, REAL instruments with the cool new gadgets of the digital age (synths, drum machines)... but 'Other Side Of The Mirror' took the latter a little too far, at the expense of the former.

'Street Angel' was a return to guitars, drums and pianos, and I loved that aspect. Again, it was just a little too muddled/murky at times.

If you ever have a chance to get a copy of it, you really should. You might actually find an appreciation for it.

I bought curse, just bought Gwen, and also OSOTM. I "got" some other music, though.
