1.If you know you would die soon what 5 songs would you want played at your funeral?
Why
Landslide
HAEWAFY
Northern Star
Think About Me
Although, I intend to be cremated, and I -literally- would like for there to be a party instead of a funeral. Band playing, open bar.....ya'all come now, ya hear?

2.If you were to write an auto-biography of yer life what would be the title?

Unrequited.

3.Who is the one person in the world who knows more about you than anyone?
My friend Lionel, who moved away a few years ago.

4.When was the last time you had a good cry?
Rarely. I subscribe to the credo- Make lemonade. Seriously.

5.What's the saddest thing you have witnessed in your life?
9/11

6.What's more important to you, Family or finding true love?
Ten years ago, even five, I would've said true love. After finding it, and losing it, I would now say family. Love often fails. Family is forever.

7.Are you optimistic or pessimistic?
See "Lemonade". Lots of stuff in life can suck. Make the best of what you've got each and every day. I live for laughter.

8.Are you afraid to show emotion in public?
Depends on if public means total strangers or not.

9.Would you freely give your life in exchange that your death would save others?
For some, yes. Some others, I think not!

10.Who was the closest person in your life that died way too soon/before their time?
Well, I lost my Mom two years ago to cancer, but she was 75, so that's not really young, although I think, of course, that it was too soon.
I had a friend commit suicide about 5 years ago, at age 22. THAT was the greatest tragedy I've ever personally witnessed, and changed me forever...

I know - I feel for you guys - I had two friends do it withing a few months. One was a childhood friend who just left the world and became a hermit - then finished off his mother's cancer pain pills - the other had a chemical imbalance in his brain that medication could help but he would stop taking it - he ate a pistol one night. It does change one's look on life. I mean everyone has a bad day - whatever. But, I just cannot SHOUT lound enough that killing yourself is not the solution. It just hurts everyone else.

I gotta get off that soap box

It indescribable. 22yo; 2 months from graduating college; good looking; good family; popular. Hung himself on a doorknob(could've gotten out of it at any time).
His death was the greatest waste I've ever seen. I was severely f*cked up for a couple months....at least.
I can go back and answer question #4 now...

Sometimes, I feel like events in my life somewhat prepared me for Jason. See, when I was 11, my dad's best friend ate a pistol. Till this day, when I see a medium or psychic, he always comes to say hello... My mother and I are still close friends with his widow. She helped me so much when I lost Jason. Anyhow, when I was 12 or 13, my friends' dad did it. A friend of mine I used to work with lost her hubby to suicide about 3 years ago.

It is just so hard not to take it personally. I mean I never thought the hermit was in trouble. The other guy though - we all knew he was in trouble. He had been in and out of hospitals for treatment, etc. But, eventually, you have to just let go, which is heartbreaking - I mean look at we three - still showing the pain after alot of time has gone by

It is hard not to take personally. It took me a long time to get through that. But, we will show pain for years to come. It just gets a little less dramatic.

I know it sounds crazy to still keep up with my HS teachers... but it was a very small Catholic school and we all knew each other... even if we weren't catholic (i'm not) we all know each others' business and how everyone is doing.
ok that was way fun... woo hoo
