Cash, gift certificates to Robinson's May and Best Buy, jeans, and some tops and a couple Stevie outtake photos I knew about and picked out beforehand. And a great book and a rockin' Old Navy scarf from fellow Ledgies .

I need one of those too! Ever since I got my iPod, I've completely crammed my hard drive with my music collection. I think I'm working with like 300MB of free space. I didn't want to ask for one, though, because I knew they wouldn't get me the one I wanted or needed.

My dad just gave me a late Christmas present in a bottle of vodka when he went to the liquor store. He put a bow on it. Do Christmas screwdrivers count as a Christmas present?

Lux I’m not wearing your shoes, but understand a little about why you’re depressed. It’s nice to have family and friends to get together with for the holidays, but the gift giving crap is nothing more then a show for a lot of people. They piss and moan while shopping and pay out the a$$ for months to come.

I have family living close and we get together a few days out of the year, but the dysfunctional sh!t I have to deal with when it happens is sickening. I usually make up excuses to get out of the events and do something I know I’ll enjoy. They know it and rarely bother to call anymore to give an invite. That’s fine with me. I’d rather it be that way then regret having sat around with those bunch of false snobs.

You’ve got to get out and meet some people. Experiment new things and make your own fun. It sounds like no ones going to do it for you. Very few do. Get out there girl and dive into it head first. Surprises can be found in places you least expect them, but if you don’t try you’ve got no one to blame but yourself. The depression will kill you, and the world will go on doing what it will.

You might actually be enjoying this depression and don’t even know it? I’m sure you don’t want to hear this but….. Nobody likes a person that whines all the time. They like you even less when you ruin the fun they’re trying to have. It’s all in your head girl and you have the power to make that change. If you don’t do it, you’re nothing more then a selfish fool. It’s your choice. Maybe I’m wrong?

Exclamation My Mother...

bought Deb & myself stuff (She bought my older brother Geary j. & myself training style sweat suits, For what reason is beyond us....Which look more like gangbanger clothes...So we had our pictures taken doing "gang signal" BS and otherly cheesin' it up, Cant wait to see the picture of Geary, his daughter/my niece Kendra & myself cheesin it while Geary had his finger poking up in Kendra's nose!!! ), But we would have preferred nothing since Christmas is not that big a deal to us.

The only true gift worth a mention was seeing my Uncle Steve j. for the first time in nearly 20 years...What's cool is that he lives in the neighborhood I grew up in and that my Mother still resides in. I am going to get to know my late Father's side of the family again...For some reason when my Father died in 1977 there was a major falling out between my Mother & my Father's family (Mainly due to some stupid BS on my Mother's part.)

Ok, I guess it's back to denial or atleast pretend smiling, just to please people. So if they have something to whine about, it still doesn't count? Just carry on in denial so as to make friends?

I wasn't aware that you knew my precise situation. So it's all in my head is it? Well ****, I wish I'd known that earlier, I wouldn't have wasted my entire life with what is apparently non-existent. As for being a selfish fool for not doing whatever this is, that's like calling someone selfish because they won't run faster than they're able. Yeah, I think you are wrong, but then that's just in my head so who knows.

Sorry for speaking up with what is the truth. Should I have lied? Probably just not said anything I guess, but at this time of year everyone goes on about the wonderful things which just draws attention to where it's the opposite. I could just shut-up and ignore everyone but I am actually human and so I just get bitter. Plus, don't I have the right to experience what is natural? Just because it's not joyous and doesn't fit in with the theme, shall we just repress it? Am I high? Perhaps. It's still the truth and perhaps it's a good mechanism for bringing forth what would otherwise be denied.

Carry on. I honestly didn't mean to interupt, I was just giving my account.
Lux sometimes I type things thinking it sounds right, but people read into it many different ways. You’re right and you are being honest about the way you feel. No I don’t know your precise situation. I don’t think I claimed to? I’d like to say something to make you feel better? I hope you at least see I care?

If my last post came out wrong I really didn’t mean it that way. I can be an ass sometimes, because when I went through depression the only thing that brought me out was tough love. It worked for me but it doesn’t work for everyone. I don’t know what else to say but “I’m sorry and I hope everything gets better for you.”

Talking A few things...

A new printer (mine went kaput) so I can print out my FM (and Keith Urban) pictures!!

CD's - Kiln House, 2 Bill Engvall CD's, Duran Duran Astronaut, and Keith Urban's self-titled and The Ranch.

DVD's - Coupling season two and the Blue Collar Comedy Tour

An mp3 player! Didn't think I needed one, but it's pretty cool.

Hewlett Packard Photosmart 7760. It's cool because you don't have to be hooked up to the computer to use it! Here is the link to see what it looks like. We haven't hooked it up yet, I'm waiting on my dad to get home from work and we'll check it out.
