I'm still waiting to hear a coherent answer as to how/why gay marriage ruins the sancity of marriage. How the hell does it affect any heterosexuals daily life, and is a couples marriage really affected by a gay couple having a marriage or a civil union. It has never affected me, can't say anyone I know can validly claim their marriage would be affected. I just don't see the problem. Imagine preaching equality and then adding an aerstick saying, but not for the "gay, black, jew, woman..." As for homosexuality being a sin, well the church is so hypocritical about everything I basically just ignor them...I would almost bet that most of their priests are gay, and then their relationship with the alter boys, well thats beyond...btw have they ever actually sent any of these priests to prision or does the church just shelter their own?

and we'll both know (I'm a happily married, straight sarcastic of an asshole male)...I don't see any possible way that gay marriage ruins the "sancity of marriage" (I absolutely HATE that f**kin' term).

If 2 people fall in love (Be it gay or straight) whose right is it to deny 'em from marriage? Last time I looked George "The biblical burnin'" Shrub didnt die on the cross or is the pontiff, So his opinion doesnt mean **** to me...Nor does that braindead leader of the Catholic church, The Poop ("Bebebebebebebebe")...

I cannot wait for a day when Jesus meets the Poop and says "Dude! Yer so full of ****!!! I love EVERYONE, I don't get where ya interpret the words in a book as my beliefs, Sound like it was written by ghostwriters IMHO...So Pontiff, Assume the position to be Holy ghost bitch slapped..."

Right on - me too I want ONE, just ONE good, logical reason (that has NOTHING to do with religion) as to why same-sex marraige is such an abbhorent thing....no one can give you that.....there are no answers because this whole thing is based on fear, hatred and ignorance...

I'm coming back at him with an attack on his straight son (also Christian) who knocked up a girl, said it was his first time and that she 'tricked' him into it
I love how straight guys talk about being "tricked" into condom free orgasms.
Tha's a hell of a parlor trick. Though I am sure a few high school athletes may have said I "tricked" them into something with a six pack and a Bon Jovi tape.
Straight guys can be SO dumb when it comes to sexual responsibility.
Then again, I have some fantastic memories to thank them for...

You can always bring up hot lesbians with the uncle. Even the most rabid homophobic men have fantasies about girl on girl action. As long as they are lipstick lesbians, that is. Large Marge and Ellen won't cut it on that fantasy scene.

well actually one year when I was in high school I didn't want to go to our family Christmas thing - in which my uncle dresses up as Santa and then makes all the "big kids" tell him what they want after the little kids....big "joke" every year and I hate it....

Well that year my mom was like, "You have to go..." And I said, "fine. So when Uncle F. asks me what I want for Christmas I'm going to tell him I want a big ole Lesbian girlfriend....!" That totally freaked me mom out (the thought that I might do that) but alas - I was forced to go anyway - and managed to sneak out when Santa arrived....

Question Why is it...

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope John Paul on Saturday condemned same sex marriage as an attack on the fabric of society and called on Catholics to combat what he said was aggressive attempt to legally undermine the family.

"Attacks on marriage and the family, from an ideological and legal aspect, are becoming stronger and more radical every day," the 84-year old pontiff said in the unusually strong statement.

"Who destroys this fundamental fabric causes a profound injury to society and provokes often irreparable damage."

The Catholic Church teaches that marriage between a man and a women is sacred and that homosexuality is a sin.

That stance has been under pressure in some of its core constituencies, including the United States and Catholic Spain where the socialist government in October approved a controversial draft law to legalize gay unions.

But a counterattack has begun. In the United States, President Bush was swept back to power in the November elections with help from U.S. evangelicals and Catholics who agree with the Pope.

Votes for Bush included solid support from the religious right and his win was interpreted by some as a victory for conservative Christians on issues like gay rights and abortion.

The Polish Pope on Saturday also condemned abortion, artificial procreation and equal status for cohabiting couples as undermining the marital state.

"These things that are presented as civilized progress or scientific conquests, in many cases are in fact a defeat for the dignity of human life and for society," his statement read.

that everytime I think of the Poop, I mean the Pope, I get the image of him being like the Pope on "South Park" who puts his finger to his lips and flips 'em up & down Bebebebebebebebebebebebe????

Man he is a now certifiable F tard...Way to go Poop!!!! Yer my new of the month!!!! Congrats...

What makes me laugh is the fact that the catholic church think we give a shiiit what they have to say.

I went to catholic schools for 10 years lol. Finally after my freshman year I said fuc% this shiit and went to my local public school. I never believed in half of their crap at any early age bc they are so hypocritical. One thing that I always loved is that they say only saints go to heaven, all other people go to hell. The only people that get canonized as saints are like high profile public people. But the second anyone dies they go "oh there in heaven with God".

Im more concerned about the temperature in China right now than what some damn church thinks of me. Starting in the 8th grade me and my guy best friend starting having oral sex with each other in the boys locker room LOL. Meanwhile twenty feet away Sister Mary Christmas would be telling everyone that masturbation was a sin lol.

Blow me!
