Well, I guess that would make Governer Gropenfuhrer the biggest hypocrite of all with his three Hummers.

Sure it makes him a hypocrite. Just pointing out the Democrats are hypocrites, too.

I like Arnold. He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro-stem cell research. Aren't these the issues Republicans are always getting slammed for?

Last I heard his approval rating was over 60%, which is quite good. I know California ain't 60% Republican, so some people must think he's doing a good job at least.

I know what you're saying, Amber, but I hear the "Republicans are greedy" line so much. Who's greedier than movie stars making millions per picture? Hell, look at Fleetwood Mac. They may all be liberals, but they are as corporate and greedy as they get. Look at their ticket prices. Look at their ridiculous fan club costs. I wonder how much it costs for Stevie to keep the air conditioning on constantly, while she keeps her fireplace going. Just sort of hypocritical in my opinion.

It is odd..they didnt elect him because he was a republican tho...I think it was because they knew he could win, and they didnt like Gray Davis. Kerry is ahead in Calif. by about 10 pts on average Gore won Calif 53.4% to Bush 41.7%

Well, I think his celebrity helped him get elected the most. I think he has some common sense ideas, and I bet many Californians agree with me. I think most Americans are willing to cross party lines for the right candidate. I think that's good.

Yet he's out on the stump for Bush who is for none of those things.

Actually, I think Arnold's being very careful about how much "stumping" he's doing for Bush. He knows too much would be political suicide for him in California.

And I know you don't think every politician who stumps for another always share views, do you?

It's not republicans are greedy, it's the farther reaching thing that - Republicans vote for policy leaders who will purposely widen the gap between rich and poor. For everyone. In the country. Or in the state. I don't think either a single democrat, or a single repub, is greedier than each other. The fact is, Republican candidates will try to implement policies that help the few, the already wealthy, and the children of the already wealthy. And rarely even attempt to protect the environment, if some corporation could make money off of not protecting it. I wasn't speaking of individual people being greedy. I was speaking of overall econimic/etc. policy

You are 100% right on the environment. Republican policies suck at protecting it. (Though I bet a majority of Republicans would say they're environmentalists.)

The rest I disagree with, but I'm sure you knew that.

Were you referring to anyone specific? Or are you just an apologist/enabler for the Gropenator/Giuliani types of the hateful Republican party?
