"Carrie" makes me laugh in parts, like the '70s music during the calisthenics, & Abby Bradford saying "I remember my prom..."
To me, that entire movie is a comedy.

"They're called BREASTS, mama!"

"Plug it up, plug it up, plug it up!"

"He had the smell of whiskey on his breath and he TOOK me....he took me and I liked it!"

And the quote Adam Sandler uses from Carrie..."They're all gonna laugh at you!"

years ago, Thought it was okay...Haven't heard anything about the recent version.

Another scary figure I like is King Diamond, Only thing is King isnt a movie villain but a Black Metal music legend & his DVD extra in his latest album release "The Puppet Master" is eerie (King is wearing full makeup & talking in his creepy voice, But still a cool DVD) to say the least.

I saw the new one.....and I could never sleep the same since, LOL! I remember going to see it in a JAMMED PACKED theater, and the sound of that chainsaw on surround sound blasting all around you was enough to scar you for life! I've never seen the original, but from what I've heard, the new one was a little gorier. It made me sick a couple of times, and EVERYONE left that movie pale, LOL! (I had to look around to see everyones reation, and even my friends left disturbed!)

"Jaws" is just classic. Not the robotic shark, but the music. The music IS the shark! I think it was Paula Poundstone, she said something like: "Could you imagine swimming with the soundtrack of "Jaws" playing? I kick myself in the water and Im already freaking out!" LOL! I live in Miami, so shark attacks aren't really scary to me. In fact, we go snorkeling with them all the time. You just gotta know which ones to stay away from (Great White*not around here, but still*, Tiger, Bull, Hammerhead).

Now, now, lets behave with the Bush bashing....Cause John Kerry looks like an extra from "Night of the Living Dead". zombie!

The demon in the Exorcist is the scariest, i think....I've seen that movie MANY times and it scares the crap out of me every time.

....and Zelda, yeesh, forgot about her, that was the scariest part of Pet Sematary! That picture someone posted is gonna be stuck in my head all day now! >:-0

Livia ~
I think that show you are talking about was Sigmund and the Seamonsters!
LOL -- I used to love to watch H.R. Puffnstuff -- Witchypoo was my favorite.

When I was a kid, the Wicked Witch from The Wizard Of Oz scared the bejezez out of me. She was truly terrifying.

As I grew up, Linda Blair in the Exorsist freaked me out. However, I quote so many lines from that movie in my daily life that it's almost campy to me, now.

I saw the re-release with friends & one who had never seen the original laughed the whole time from the lines & deliveries.
