Right now I have two:

Live It Up by Blondie

and

that Alicia Keys "Karma" song remixed with Stevie Wonder's Superstition...heard it last night and it's burrowed its way into my brain.

I love her version of Jolene! Her voice is really pretty and I love Come to Jesus as well. I also love One Moment More (think that's the name).

I have a couple. Blondie's Go Through It and Bowie's Something In the Air. Great songs.

OMG - I love that song. When I saw Stevie Wonder come out in Philly yesterday at Live 8, and then start Superstitious, I was just hoping that Alecia would come out and join him. That would have been too cool!

I totally love this song! I've been singing this for a couple of weeks...I don't really know anything about her but I love her voice. GREAT song!

I'm the exactly the same! Mr Newman should definitely do more solo albums, I definitely prefer TSW to his stuff with the New Pornographers.

Check this band out, 4 Non Blondes. "What's Up" is my favourite song right now, (see video), it's old, but what a great song. Anyone else familiar with them?

Right now I am obsessed with Coldplay's 'Speed of Sound'

I have been obssessed with everything Moby lately, well for about a year.

I also made this old compilation cd of sad songs and the one I just can't get enough of is 'Bell Bottom Blues' by Eric Clapton and 'This Years Love' by David Gray

Oh yeah - "What's Up" was big here in the early to mid 90s! I loved that song - still do

Linda Perry, the lead, was in Albuquerque while I was living there - I went to see the show - and somehow missed her by like two minutes

-----

Anyway current favorite song: Coal Miner's Daughter - Loretta Lynn tied with Now and Forever - Carole King!

I love Linda Perry, I think she looks like a hoot I love her voice. She kind of reminds me of Natalie Merchant (looks wise, who I also love). What's Up, I think is one of those songs that you just love from the first time you hear it. It's too bad that the band was a "one hit wonder". A close friend of mine is in a band that does a cover of that song, and does a really good job of it, so I'm really lucky that I get to enjoy that song every time I see them play.

Yeah Linda Perry totally looks like she'd be one fun chick to hang out with

I haven't heard "What's Up" in a long time - then randomly some radio station here started playing it - I manage to catch it at the VERY END every time One day I'll catch it at the beginning.

I think it's also one of those songs you either love or hate. I know a lot of people who just HATE HATE HATE it - and I know some who love it - I've never met anyone on the in-between
