Well I got the raise afterall, because I begged enough and I really needed it.
I am getting a kitty finally. My BOOBOO died in January so it's about time.

I just can't wait to have a little animal in my place again. It's been so quiet and I need to care about something other than myself

I recently got a kitty. He's a mean little sonofabitch, too. I'm hoping he calms down, or else I don't think I can keep him around my daughter.

Is he mean when your daughter is dragging him around and doing other nefarious things to him, or is he mean all the time? Some stuff, cats won't put up with, but may be really nice cats otherwise.

Also, some cats are just mean.

He is actually pretty good when she is dragging him around, stuffing him in gift bags, walking him in her baby doll stroller, giving him milk baths (I think he liked that though), putting him in the dryer

ect...He waits until she is vulnerable (sleeping, watching a movie, calm stuff) then runs up with a sneak attack, bites the hell out her and runs and hides. Then he starts it over again. He attacks me pretty bad too. I have to keep him in the basement at night because he attacks us in out sleep. He's still just a few months old, so maybe he will mellow out. I guess I can't blame the cat, rereading this post makes me realize that he puts up with ALOT of crap. He deserves a big bag of catnip

Yeah. That sounds like regular crazy stupid kitten stuff.

Gosh, I don't want to sound bad, but....uh....maybe you shouldn't let your daughter treat the cat some of those ways? *ducks*. Cats don't really like to be treated like dolls, mostly. *ducks, again*

Ah, well, the kitten is still alive, isn't it?

Well I don't intentionally let her do those things. I can't follow her around 24/7 (a girls gotta take a shower sometime!) and it's just me her and the cat here, so she does alot of this stuff when she knows I'm not looking. He actually likes the stroller and being put in purses and bags. He likes being in little places. the dryer was a bad deal. I was doing dishes and Olivia got really quiet. I called her name and she responded with "Nothinggggg!" So I knew she was up to something. I found her with her hand on the dryer, opened it up and there was the cat. Luckily she can't reach the dials to turn it on, or else we would have had a big problem.

Yea, you know something is wrong when all I do is call her name and she responds with "nooothinnngg" That either means cat torture or finger nail polish!

I always wondered why when I was really quiet or responded wiht, "nooothing" my mom would come immediately

Little kids are fun

And yea for clean teeth - I had to have fillings a few weeks ago

I don't get it - I brush two-three times daily and I floss regularly - and yet I ended up with a cavity

I don't like to use the blobs, but that is a great present! I had a big ol' boring project at work to do today, but with my ishuffle, nothing is boring! Whiffle ball is fun, too.
