They're master tapes that have never circulated from a different taper than the one currently making the rounds and the sound is phenomenal.

Yahoo!!! I have dying to get a decent quality show from on the WH shows-they seem very hard to come across-at least for the casual collector w/ no source other than downloading from different fan sites! Thanks. Looking forward to it.

I started to burn my own versions of WH shows from low generation audio cassettes to avoid the usual MP3 non-sense and bad edits...Reduces the older & poorer versions to either "coasters" or "Microwave explosives"

Back in the mid-1980s I picked up a 2-vinyl Fleetwood Mac Brazilian boot in a local used record store and immediately transferred it to cassette. I described the album, art, etc. to a knowledgeable Machead (you know who you are!) and he surmised that I had the first release of the boot commonly known as "Hollywood" or "Hollywood Live," which was recorded at Trod Nossel studios in Wallingford, CT.

Anyway, these are the original .wav files from that cassette. I don't grade my stuff, but I've seen the MP3 rips of these files posted as "A" quality. I've also included art that I made from scans of the original album jacket.

Linage: CDR -> EAC -> WAV -> FLAC

Lindsey Buckingham's hugely anticipated follow-up to his 1992 masterpiece 'Out Of The Cradle', Gift Of Screws was recorded in the years that followed Cradle right up until 2000, the album was submitted to the record company 'Warners Brothers (Reprise) and a decision was taken not to release the album but to re-record the tracks with Fleetwood Mac and release them on the next Fleetwood Mac studio album 'Say You Will' which was released in 2003.

MP3s of this CD surfaced on the internet in 2001 and are believed to be the mixed tracks but not mastered tracks from "Gift Of Screws", recording date believed to be 2000 / 2001, this collection is a copy of the submitted CD of Gift Of Screws.

This collection contains the only copy of the lossless files currently in circulation. No editing of the tracks have been done and the songs are brought to you exactly as on the CD.

I wonder where that disc came from

I would like to trade for a copy of this release if anyone is interested, I have a few lossless recordings I can trade you in return:

Aug.30,1978-Baton Rouge, LA (2 Disc version of the complete show, Different than the one disc version listed on easytree)

March 11,1980-Melbourne, AU & March 15,1980-Sydney, AU (Great soundboard recordings)

Oct.12,1982-Memphis, TN (Another soundboard transferred from master audio cassette)

Oct.20,1982-Oakland, CA (Maybe an "audience" recording, But one of the best from the 1979-1982 F.M. touring era!)

All of these recording came from the same source/provider as did the GOS release.

Kinda funny, but I received a freebie DVD today that's rather cool (For doing a B&P DVD/CD trade), "The TOSOTM UK Interviews 1989-1990" that has some interesting Stevie moments (She looks frikkin' sexy in the first interview titled "One To One")...I am on a good streak with DVD's as of late:

Paul McCartney & Wings-1976 Seattle, WA-The Kingdome-"Rockshow" (Great pro-shot DVD of the OOP movie "Rockshow")

I just downloaded a Bowie DVD (Loreley '95) from EasyTree and it took me hours to figure out how to burn it.
