I love this band. I always will. I don't support this.

Bring on the Lindsey solo albums. I am mad that he has wasted the better part of the last 7 years since SWS in 2011. At least we got Buckingham/McVie in that time, but most of the rest of it seemed to be punctuated simply by Lindsey in the press saying he hoped they could do an album. All that lost time for diddly squat.

Please, please, please Lindsey! Make up for lost time!

I am really disappointed in Christine. Since she rejoined the band, it seemed that her chemistry with the band was primarily chemistry with Lindsey. The BuckVie album and tour proved that, in my opinion. Why would she even want to stay in a version of Fleetwood Mac that doesn't include Lindsey? She doesn't have a musical history with either of the new guys, does she (the way Stevie does)?

The only good thing that could come of this is if Christine thinks it over and leaves the band too, and joins Lindsey for another BuckVie album and tour.

As much as I love Christine, I will not buy a ticket to see this new Fleetwood Mac configuration.

I'll say it one last time - Stevie Nicks is the WORST thing that ever happened to FM. Bitter old f*cking HAG! I hope she rots in Hell!
I feel the same way, my friend.

Today is one of the worst days ever.

Joke or not, FuzzyPlum, it's obvious YOU'RE the reason they asked Neil Finn to join!

Just kidding! But kudos to you for figuring it out, even if it was a joke.

Yes! At least Rolling Stones is telling the right story.

They couldn't care less about what we feel or want.

This is my secret hope. If she follows him out the door, they can make more music together (what a novel concept, making music!) And this time, it doesn't have to start from a failed attempt to rally the troops. It can be theirs from the ground up. I wouldn't even want Mick and John involved with it. Completely separate from Fleetwood Mac, and let BuckVie truly be it's own thing.

It probably won't happen, but I'll let the dream be my coping mechanism for now.

Sadly, yes. I see it with the faux Eagles currently touring - casual fans still pay top dollar for tickets, not caring that Glenn Frey isn't there anymore and perfectly happy with Vince Gill (!) singing his parts. The same will happen here, I'm afraid.

I blame this on Stevie. She ruined any chance of them recording again.

I normally don't post just read but this brought me out.For me this is it for Fleetwood Mac.There is no recovering from this.I will not support this or give them a dime of my money.

What a slap in the face to Lindsey and longtime Fleetwood Mac fans. And they really think this tour is going to be successful???

Fleetwood Mac had actually become one of the coolest bands on the planet. I mean, they were really, really cool. Much of that was down to the chemistry of the 5 and so much of it was down to Lindsey Buckingham in particular.
What the hell are they now? Its hard to see them as being cool. They are an absolute embarrassing joke.

Well, I guess the Rumours 5 is done. It's hard to come back from a major news agency publishing the headline "Fleetwood Mac fires Lindsey Buckingham" to the world. It seems like the ultimate FY.
