I disagree. I admit that this is the first season of this show I have ever seen, so my basis of comparison to other seasons is non existant.

I think the true underdog here is Blake. He really is the only serious male competition to jar Melinda and LaKisha from the top 3. I've never voted for Jordan and never will as I'm not taken by her. She's been singing ballads for several shows, but if you see her uptempo numbers she performed earlier, she really has no physical moves. She's kinda laugable.

In all seriousness, I bet the majority of teens are voting for Gina. Rock is very hot right now in the teen market.

But don't forget it is the number 1 show in America. That means grandmas are voting too. Funny, I was at Norm's a week or so ago and a strange couple (older) were rushing to pay so they could get home to vote on Idol. Everyone is voting.

There you go..you haven't seen the patterns that have been established for 6 years now..YES! EVERYONE VOTES.....BUT..the teeny boppers are the MAJORITY..sorry..sad..true. I love Blake..I hope he wins..but I know he won't.
It will not be Lakisha.....cuz we have Jennifer Hudson now..who is the whole package really.It wiil not be Melinda..because she is too polished..remember LaToya...same problem. Oh really? I find it highly doubtful teenagers voted for Taylor Hicks. Please.

The current poll on AI website shows 48% people think Stephanie leaving as the wrong decision. Voting patterns change each week. Polished or not, Melinda has the edge and deservedly so. LaKisha may win for payback time for letting Hudson go early. Who the hell knows what goes through America's head when it comes down to picking who they like.

Jordan is not going to win. Dream on, silly dreamer.

Throwing in these types of themes is really a good idea. Throws contestants out of their comfort zones. Let's us see if they can really sing and work a song. These types of themes also bring in the "forgotten lyrics" performances and upsets voting trend favorites.
