Can't you see that it's wrong to want everyone to believe what you do? What if someone tried to do that to you? Can't you see how you would hate that? Geez, I swear.

Paul said "Love is Patient and Kind" there's more, but you get the idea. To be truly "Christ-Like" is to be tolerant, and forgiving, and to welcome the lost sheep and be the servant of your fellow man etc........NOT to feel yourself morally superior or assume you have the only path toward God that there is...
or to foist your belief system on the rest of us through a systematic assault on our civil liberties.

We are created in God's image not the image of the Moral "Majority"
now ask yourself: why is it that fundamental Christians are SO threatened by any other belief system or value system?

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm certainly not asking you or anyone else to abandon their beliefs.

In fact, what I'm asking doesn't involve the abandonment of beliefs at all... it merely involves looking a little deeper into your religion, and seeing that some of the ideas regarding homosexuality that are professed, are as antiquated as slavery and the subjugation of women.

Yes, be excepting of people and love them Is christs message. But Christ also preached about SIN. To the woman he rescued from adultury, he told her her sins were forgiven...BUT...GO AND SIN NO MORE! God turns his head away from Sin, but he dosen't want us to show any less respect and love towards those who sin...which is EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US!
