Isn't it funny the people who were most directly affected by 911 (New York and Washington DC) voted overwhelmingly for Kerry. The further away from cities you lived and the less educated you are, the more you voted for Bush.
I always find it strange that the more religious you are the more hate and intolerance you have. I am so sad right now.

And, of course, one of the planes crashed here in PA, and our state went to Kerry, too.

It's assumed that the greatest of sins can be forgiven as long as you claim to be Jesus-loving and God-fearing.
Gonna be a lot of shocked people come Judgement Day, no?

oh, you noticed that? That's why repubs cut education in favor of corporation. The dumber we are, the more we'll think they're ideas are GGGRRREEAAT!!
sorry, no offense to smart repubs, or religious demos, but...

Exactly. Thinking of what may go down in this next term frightens the hell out of me. This is truly a sad day for our country (and the world, even).

Anyway, this is all disappointing, but it's just all the more reason why we need to continue our quest to improve this country, and get it out from under the thumbs of the war-mongering, job-outsourcing, economy-ruining, Bible-thumping hypocrites.
We have four years to work towards taking the NEXT election from the right-wing conservatives, and we better make the best of that time.

Mr. Stew, how is it that you always know what to say?

Thumbs up Hehehe...

NBC has somewhat retracted saying Bush won Ohio (Though they are still showing it in the red) so there's still some hope left.

You know Ohio is going to the courts. Don't be sad. Okay be sad, if it helps. Tomorrow we regroup and figure out where to go from here. Goodnight all.

Eh, don't worry. I'm an embarrassment to Virgos everywhere. I am the KING of procrastination and unfinished tasks.

(By the way, what does it look like lately, romance-wise, for Virgos? Some of us are curious about a new relationship. )

Aw, shucks... you actually made me blush.
But I'm not wise... I still have so very much to learn.

I'm sorry to hear your relationship didn't work out.

I think the romance-issue tends to be a "grass is always greener" kind of thing. Many single people would love to be in a relationship, and many coupled people would love to be single.

I've been single for quite some time now though. I enjoy it, but I'd like to have a "special someone" in my life.
I had a way-too-hard time getting over a relationship a couple years ago, but I'm more than ready to try my hand at dating again.

(Oh, and I understand where you're coming from... but every relationship, good or bad, is a learning experience. Which sounds like a bunch of bull to you right now, I'm sure. But I think you'll realize it at some point. )

Ok, I'm done hijacking this thread now.
