Oh, you HAVE to read it. Hell, I'd send it to you if I hadn't loaned it out. It is THAT GOOD!!

Why did TDWP infuriate you?? I'm only to like, chapter 4 or something. I put it down a few weeks ago and haven't picked it back up. Too busy lately, but maybe I'll read a bit tonight

Well I should say that it infuriated me in a good way. She wrote the Miranda character beautifully - and as much as I like Meryl Streep - she did not go anywhere NEAR the Miranda in the book....

I'll be interested to see what you think when you get farther in....I did enjoy the book - but good gosh that Miranda character....ugh.

I've been wanting to read some Sedaris - is he related to Amy Sedaris? No one is ever able to answer this question for me.

STILL reading Mary Called Magdalene - it's really long, and so far somewhat strange.

"the franklin cover-up" by nebraska senator john decamp
-on a side note, anyone who was interested in the johnny gosch thread awhile back, this is the book to read, it has tons & tons of documented stuff in this book & the kidnapping of johnny gosch was part of this book, it was very disturbing since i live where all of this happened & they say is still going on, but it was an intriguing read i couldn't put it down~ there is an updated 2005-2006 version out there i got it at amazon cheap~

also reading "the black dahlia" by james ellroy~
