Say WHAT, Brian?!
You heard the 5-18-77 soundboard on a radio station in Tulsa?

You guys are aware that Maureen originally sold these soundboards as audio CD-Rs, right? The problem isn't finding non-MP3-sourced; the problem is that Maureen butchered every last one of them. In fact, this particular show was labeled "Oakland" -- I'm the one who told her it was Oklahoma City, & then I posted the corrected info to Usenet.

If track times are provided, post them here. That's the sure-fire tipoff.
that I found out that some of the 1977 Japan Backstage footage I have on 3 DVD's is possibly stuff that Maureen once possessed.

Yeah, The dead giveaway on the 1977 show being OKC instead of Oakland is Stevie's dedication during "Landslide".

A short question David, Where was the May 13,1977 footage shot at for the promo videos of "Dont Stop" & "Dreams"?

KMOD 97.5 (The Rainbow Station...A great station that went from the best station in Oklahoma to sucking ass due in parts to "certain company buying 'em out") used to play a great majority of this show, I remember specifically "Dreams", "Oh Well", "Landslide", "Over My head", "Go Your Own way" & "Blue Letter" being played on the air and the DJ's stating the songs played were from the 1977 show in OKC.

KMOD used to play all kinds of stuff that seemed strange for a station to have:

"Amanda" by Boston, back as early as late 1984 (The song officially was not released until 1986's "Third Stage")

All kinds of professionally recorded live tracks recorded at major Oklahoma shows throughout the 70's-80's (Tracks from the OK Jam, Led Zep, Van Halen, Leon Russell, ZZ Top, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and even tracks from Fleetwood Mac's 1979 date in OKC.)

It's beyond question. Devilwoman sold those on VHS tape about six or seven years ago. First time they made their appearance as a unit like that.

That & the fact that the band played OKC on 5-18-77, according to the itinerary. It was labeled "Oakland" because the seller sold the Oakland 10-20-82 soundboard at the same time, & she was never one for proofreading her work.

I didn't know it was May 13. I took the "Paris soundcheck" from the liner notes at face value (like "London" for "Rhiannon") & assumed it was from the Paris show or shows they did in early April 1977. Christine's comment at the end of "Don't Stop" is the kind of thing you'd say at a soundcheck -- it rings true.

Where'd you hear May 13? That's interesting. They played May 11 in El Paso, May 14 in Houston & May 15 in Fort Worth. So if they filmed a soundcheck on May 13, chances are it was in Texas.

How cool is that? Sounds as if they had somebody at the Fairgrounds Arena or the Assembly Center taping bands for them -- probably passing the tapes back under the table.

Ever tried to dig up those tapes in the station archives? They're probably unrecoverable -- or dust -- at this point.

That is the date listed on the intro for the 2 promo videos on the DVD I traded for (Listed as "WEA Promo Videos-"Don't Stop" & "Dreams" May 13,1977")

These are the 2 clearest versions of the promo videos I have seen...I have other versions of the same videos, But without the intro info, And all are nowhere as clear audio & visual quality wise.

I still lived in Tulsa, I would so love to volunteer to see what KMOD has in their archives (Hopefully the buyout by Clear Crap-Channel didnt affect the archives KMOD had, The station is one year younger than myself.)
