Usually he'll just eat paper (magazines, envelopes, etc.) if he can get to it & he's mad we left him, but nothing like this before. Speaking of eating paper, someone here at work told me they were watching one of those reality ER shows and there was a patient that went to the ER for abdominal pain due to a habit of eating 6 ROLLS OF TOILET PAPER A DAY!! This was an 18-year-old girl! Sick, huh?

Yeah, sick. Was she trying to manage her weight that way? That is probably likely, as sad as it sounds.

I completely forgot to tell you guys - the gloves have been expelled! A couple of weeks ago, Mark was sick from work. He was laying on the couch, drifting in & out of consciousness when he heard a noise. He looked over & saw something laying on the carpet (of course )

The gloves. Still attached by the string thingy. Still whole. Crumpled up & covered in dog puke.

2 WEEKS AFTER BUBBA ATE THEM!

My poor baby. Thank God he's OK. Needless to say, he is no longer trusted out of his crate when he's home alone. Ever.

I'm glad he's okay, too, Paula.

So anyway, the cat I rescued last year (oynge) has been losing her fur and losing weight. I just noticed a week or so ago. She's acting completely the same, though, and her appetite is fine. I have to wait a couple weeks to take her to the vet - does anyone know what those might be symptoms of? She didn't have FIV when I got her.

That's funny you said that - when I emailed this same pic to Bruce, I put "Who's that handsome boy?" as the subject line. I don't know what the stray kitty could be suffering from - the vet should, though! I guess if she's eating and acting otherwise normal, she's probably okay. Maybe she got stressed over something?

Paula, glad to hear your doggie is fine, but, eeewww! LOL
