The only label I check is the price tag. But I'll start looking for "Made In Taiwan" labels and will most definitely stay away from them.

to the price tags too, But when ya have great discs start to dissolve and become nuthin' more than 'glorified drink coasters' ya learn to dump the price tag routine

Well, I got some "no name" PNY discs when I bought my Vaio because I had a rebate. Do you know anything about these? I use them to backup stuff so I need them to work for a while. I plan to back up everything again shortly anyway. What do you use to back up your computer data?

media, So I wouldnt have a clue...

I dont back up anything since I do not use a PC for internet access...All my music is saved on compact discs, Not as files online.
