When did Melrose become a gay show to watch?

Even the most butch of men were Melrose fanatics. That show was THE show for years. I built my Monday's around it.

My favorite episode would have to be the one where Kimberly drugged and kidnapped Peter, then checked him into the booby hatch and tried to lobotomize him.

The eps with Sydney and the cult were pretty good, too. And when Sam and her drunk father ran Syd over and killed her just as she was walking out of the church after getting married? Priceless.

Today on Dynasty, the older woman drugged the younger woman's father and threw him down some stairs. I don't know their names yet, whatev. I never much liked Melrose when it was on. Then again, I was like 10 .

My cousin, who is very much a guy's guy, loved Melrose. I never watched it. My mom got me addicted to Knots Landing as a teen tho.

The shoulderpads on Dynasty were the real stars of the show.

I think it's Joan Collins (Alexis) that you're talking about. Has Sammy Jo come on yet? She's a riot.

Truthfully I don't watch much TV. Nothing good on anymore, after Xena and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine went off the air some years ago.

Knots Landing was addictive. The episode where Lilimae tells Joshua that she hates him and wishes him dead after he beats up Ciji is burned into my brain, especially considering that he died mere seconds after she said it.

I was a Generations fan, never got into Deep Space Nine.

No, it wasn't Joan. It was Krystle Grant Jennings Carrington (Linda Evans) who poisoned 'Sammy Jo' Dean Reece's (Heather Locklear) father.

I'm having a brain fart, sorry. I don't remember. I haven't seen most of it in years. And I've been too enchanted with Knots Landing and Melrose Place recently.

Krystle was the good one, too.

Well, having Scott Bakula as the star of a series isn't exactly the right ingredient for a superb pie.
