Sonia, your best bet is to download Netscape. As good as IE has become from a features standpoint, Microsoft still looks at paying customers as if they were a huge community of beta testers for their product. The result is an unwavering insistence on releasing unstable products. I have IE 6.0 and it started crashing a few weeks ago every time more than two windows, and sometimes only two, open up. I downloaded Netscape and it crashes far less often.

It's not entirely Microsoft's fault. A lot of these pop-up windows used for ads and other purposes are wreaking havoc with the performance of a lot of PCs. I work on a 1.8-gig Pentium at home and I find that my CPU's performance has suffered considerably with the proliferation of f*&^% pop-ups!

I could go on about how this is another example of greedy business interests messing up our lives, but I won't.

Very helpful, very comprehensive (I did have to zoom in on that text a little bit tho ). I feel like I'm in the loop now and I'm burning with curiosity about all these other songs Stevie copyrighted recently!

Carne, thanks for the tip. I'm sure switching to Netscape would help. I've hesitated because I don't like Netscape for Mac much (it has other problems, lol)...but I suppose I should give it another try
