This Stevie is a witch subject really irritates me. I have heard this many times before. It bothers me because there are people that actually believe this lie and won't listen to her or Fleetwood Mac because of it.

My own cousin, who is very religous, heard this rumour from her co-workers. These people are supposed Stevie fans and Devil Worshipers. They told her that there was a bar in Texas that is frequented by Witches & Devil Worshipers & Stevie had been seen there. My cousin called me at work to warn me not to listen to her music anymore.

This angers me because my cousin was a casual Stevie listener & now she has concerns about her music.

I told her it was nonsense & to remember that these same people filed a complaint against her for reading the Bible during lunch. They claimed that the Bible was offensive to their beliefs.

I guess there are a lot of crazy & delusional people in this world.

This boggles my mind. I believe it is healthy for people to have an opinion but the type of people who stuff their beliefs and thoughts down other peoples throats are poor pathetic fools. What makes what they believe superior to others? Nothing. In fact it makes their beliefs seem dumb. The people who are badgering you MacFan should be ignored. There are a few people on this board who are not very big fans of Stevie's, and a few more who particularly don't care for her at all, but at least most of those people can give an intelligent reason as to why they aren't fans. If you are going to avoid the work of any type of artist, that is certainly fine............

...........just have a half-decent reason for your actions. Just saying it's not your taste or you really don't like it is more intelligent than spouting that kind of verbal diarrhea.

Mac Fan, in my very humble opinion, I think it wouldn't be such a bad idea if you didn't visit this board that you're talking about ever again. It's one thing people expressing extreme views about particular subjects, but "getting banned" for trying to explain that "Stevie Nicks is not a witch" makes me wonder about the mental health of the administrators/moderators of the board. The same moderators obviously seem to be ok with people posting that "Satan wrote all the Fleetwood Mac songs", which is possibly the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my entire life, to the point where I actually cracked up laughing when I read it, and again confirms for me that they've obviously got at least a few thousand screws lose...

You're saying something similar to what someone else said, FM can't be compared to Steps, because they both do different types of music, and therefore you can't compare them.
I'm so glad that my brother and sister don't say things like that to me. All they say is 'Fleetwood Mac are crap' and then they just leave at that.

This is one of those topics that just infuriates me!!! I don't understand where people get these things! I guess it is because she wrote and sang one song about a witch, of course the song, Rhiannon. It is insane to say that because of this song that she is a witch. That would be like saying because I wrote a song or sing a song about drugs, I'm a drug addict! It is just silly. In no way does Stevie or the band exhibit behaviors that suggest they are devil worshipers! These people that you speak of need to research Fleetwood Mac and their music, before they make comments about them. Education is the best weapon! They desperately need some! If they did learn about them for real and didn't go by hear-say, they would know this is just crazy to the very core!
