That was a kick @ss performace last night that is for sure..I had been out w/ some friends and i had been drinking a little and when i saw that she had a different dress on i was like "Oh My GOD...she is wearing a different dress..praise jesus"! and everyone was like "o...k"..so i had to explain "The Dress" situation....then my brother and his friends come and he is like "What the hell..why the hell are you watching Lilith Fair...put on MYV2",lol...anyhoo..i thought that it was really cool..they should do that more often...

Stevie looked and sounded great as did Sheryl, Natalie looked to be in the wrong decade but sounded great...IMO, The only thing I was disappointed with was that the backing vocals were mixed in a way were you couldnt tell who was singing what...Otherwise it was a cool performance...Brian

It was so super to see Stevie out and about! It was especially fun to see the switch in roles, with Stevie there to back up Sheryl for a change. I liked seeing Stevie in a new dress! Even if it was still black!

So the different dress was nice and she did look a little slimmer...she always looked a little stuffed into that other black dress. I wish the new one was a little shorter, though..it was so granny length you could hardly see THE boots!! And this may be the first time I've actually noticed that you could hear the tambourine. They always silence whatever she's playing. I was just watching the Tusk live/documentary and I noticed you could actually hear her hitting the drumstick on the cowbell in "Tusk". Anyone else see that? And the way she was getting down in that song, or when she's doing the can-can in "Angel." Although she wasn't moving like that last night she seemed more relaxed..whereas in most of the Trouble in Shangri-La shows she just seemed to always be holding back. I hope that she really cuts loose when she's back w/ the Mac on tour!!

I thought the performance was great! Stevie kicked ass with her tamborine! I don;t know why everyone is buggi'n on Natalie, didn't she have a baby a little while ago??

I haven't seen it yet so I can't comment on Natalie..but yes she did have a baby. Is she still looking a bit hefty?? I hate that nowadays there is such pressure on people to look like stick insects. I recently watch Bridget Jones Diary and I think Renee whatever her nae looked so much better with more weight on her than when she lost it all again afterwards

Pip, Natalie looked hefty. I don't mind it, it's great to see someone who is not a size 4. I love the Dixie Chicks. Natalie just looked like a block.

well, i haven't seen it yet......i'm gonna steal the tape from lindsey tho, cause i HAVE to see this new dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't believe she FINALLY wore a different one!! lol, i said to my dad "OMG! stevie wore a new dress on Leno!" and he said "oohhh...did someone call the president?!" lmao......he's so sarcastic when it comes to stevie......anyway, i can't wait to see it!

a Sheryl Crow weekend in California because she was the "Grand Marshal" at the Nascar race in Fontana, Plus FOX showed clips of "Soak Up The Sun" at the beginning of the Nascar broadcast...Kinda funny to see her at a race, Wished Stevie would have been there too, It would have made my day better...Brian

WOOHOO! oh yeah, and did anyone catch when jay went up to her to shake her hand, she leaned in like there was supposed to be a kiss on the check, but since jay totally ignored her and kept it moving, she played it off with a two handshake?! lmao! i thought that was good! and at the end she was cheesing so hard and waving so fast! she was just adorable!

well i taped it and i get to look at another dress whenever i feel like it now! our prayers have been answered! there is another outfit she has to wear on stage now!

Yeah, I caught the two-hand-shake thing. I was mad at Jay because I could tell there wasn't going to be an interview, and it did seem like she thought she was going to get a much warmer greeting from him. I was a tad embarrassed for her. Jay just has no home-training at all! You just don't disrespect Stevie that way, do you?

Crap, why don't they do Letterman?
He's a much bigger Stevie fan, with the whole "I was married to Stevie" thing. He does give his musical guests alot more attention, IMHO.
Jay would rather have us see some guy hump a bar stool for three minutes, then come over and talk about having his picture taken......blah,blah, blah...YAWN!!!

Maybe they couldn't fly to NYC to the Letterman show.
Maybe Stevie, just couldn't get away from, you know, what ever, or whoever had her in such a GOOD, UPBEAT mood, friday night you know? She seemed to be having a real good time!

She looked and sounded great, and her dress/jacket seemed to fit really well. It wasn't too tight and it had nice lines. I do think she had the same old raggy on underneath, and it was peeking out the front a little though.
I wonder if she has taken anymore Limo rides with Mr. Blue Jean Knees? WHOEVER he is?
