When Kenny Loggins confirmed doing a promotional tour to Europe, Stevie's management comfirmed she would stay several days together with Kenny. Somehow, Stevie didn't show and CBS cancelled a lot of tv shows. But Kenny wouldn't perform alone. In the Netherlands however, the record company presented Kim Hecker who was a talented singer as stand in. However Loggins wasn't very found of this solution he accept that alternative. On the other hand, major American popstars were not interested in perform before a camera crew to make there appearances. That was the time were lots of company's introduced video clips. This clip, with Kim, was shoot end September 1978 at Toppop. The song made a spectacular jump into the charts and the tv producers has to come with some video. That's why. In that perspective something else. This was a real career breaker for Kim. A talented and warm person who was used by CBS as a stand in for Stevie. She was not able to fit Stevie's shoes. A lot of Stevie's and FM fans were angry. That that's business I guess. To be honest, as I saw the video in 1978, man, I was disappointed. I was angry for some time. Not my most adorable memory from the past. But is is how the cookie crumbles during the past. Will
