I would have liked "Rooms of Fire" to be included as a representation of her solo career from years 1986-2011.

HOWEVER, I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED and BEYOND ECSTATIC about this set list!! It's absolutely refreshing and much needed. I had my doubts as to whether the High Priestess would follow through with her promise, but she HAS pulled it off. We have a fantastic set list full of never performed and under represented songs and I couldn't have been more thrilled in Houston on Saturday night.

I practiced great restrain by not peeking at the set list before my concert. From the moment that Miss Thing walked onstage to the opening notes of "Gold and Braid", I KNEW SHE wasn't fooling around. She meant business and had every intention of fulfilling her promise to jolt some life into the formerly stagnant set list.....and DELIVER she did!! "Wild Heart" and "Bella Donna" were beyond phenomenal. Mission Accomplished!!!

Houston, Texas 24 Karat Gold Tour
October 29, 2016

FAVORITE LINE OF THE NIGHT:

Chrissie Hynde: (as she picks up a bouquet of flowers left at the foot of the stage) "I think these flowers were meant for "Liz". I'll take them anyway. That's what I call her, "Liz". Stevie Nicks reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor, so I call her "Liz".

There was a hint of sarcasm in Ms. Hynde's voice, but it was all in playful fun.

I know, right? I love that song. She also mentioned in interviews about doing "Trouble in Shangri-La". I guess she cut that as well.

None of us would ever agree on the setlist. I am floored the amount of songs Stevie is doing. So I would give the set list a strong B+.
Glad she is not doing Landslide - its been played to death and is more of a Mac song with Lindsey
Glad she is not doing HAWAFY

Wish she would have dropped Gold Dust Woman for another Stevie song. Would love to hear All the beautiful worlds but it sounds like a song difficult to do live.

Who would have thought we would have a Stevie tour with 5 Bella Donna songs and 4 Wild Heart songs. That is incredible !!!!

This is a pipe dream but I would remove 2 songs from 24k and add Rooms on Fire and another deep cut. But that would just being picky. Think About it would be a great addition or Kind of Woman or Nothing Ever Changes or Long Way to Go.

Pipe dream for sure. No way cut songs from 24K on the 24K tour. What are you smoking? lol. Then you should have gone to see the White Winged Doe Tour...

Me too! And while I genuinely appreciate the diversity of this set list, I find it discouraging that she has once again completely ignored 4 of her solo studio albums. That's a shame. This set list, thought great, was definitely created with the BD and WH reissues in mind.
