It would be more exciting if Lindsey and Christine
worked on an album together sans John and Mick.

Something new! And certainly a more interesting
project than anything Fleetwood Mac could do together.

I strongly disagree.

I agree, only because I think it would be more likely to happen if Mick isn't involved. He seems to be the one who's really committed to having Stevie be part of a new Fleetwood Mac album.

If CM & LB work together outside of the FM moniker they need to make sure they have the best flood insurance that money can buy because Mick will cry like he's never cried before...We're talking epic Noah's Ark biblical flood here...Can you even imagine...First Stevie does a stadium tour and takes a few possible swipes at her FM mates and then CM /LB put out a record and a tour without him...Mick would "Go Insane"

I like Mick and John but it would be
so much more interesting to have one
album with just Lindsey and Christine.

Meg White isn't busy right now.
Just an idea.

It could be interesting and certainly different....not Fleetwood Mac..
And I doubt they could use that name, but at least it would be new music..

I agree about wanting something new. Not having Mick and John, however, is not the way I'd go about it. They're not what's stale about Fleetwood Mac. A Fleetwood Mac album comprising of Mick, John, Christine, and Lindsey is the kind change I could get behind.

That's what would be great about it.
It would allow them more freedom
without that name.

With them in tow it would have to be called Fleetwood Mac.

Lindsey and Christine with a new band might be the spark
that they need. It would be good for us too.

exactly.

but the stale part has the most historical commercial success and by far the best PR.

i do agree that either the 4 of them make and album under FM moniker, or Chris and Lindsey make an album without FM and call it something different. for the latter to happen, they'd have to redo the songs they already recorded with FM, so it seems a redundant effort.

meanwhile, i just bought tickets to see live the woman LB tagged as a possible replacement for SN in FM. very curious!

Eh, I think that's just wishful thinking on his part. They don't need a replacement for Stevie. In fact, I doubt Bekka would have gotten the nod if Christine hadn't retired from touring at the end of 1990, but they needed at least one female vocalist.
