Yeah those three songs seem wildly different to me, too.

If you want Nicks songs that sound really similar try "Outside the Rain", "Dreams", "How Still My Love"....they aren't carbon copies of each other but they sound very similar.

Lindsey - The Ledge, Come, Empire State
Christine - Never Make Me Cry, Save Me, Don't Stop (mostly due to overplay)
Stevie - Silver Girl, Affairs of the Heart, Welcome to the Room...Sara

Ha this made me laugh out loud for some reason.

But I think Stevie has to own this one. We can't even blame LB because his playing and his vocal actually are great and make the song far better than her alone.

Surprised by all the dislike for Freedom! I thought that was one of Stevie's more admired early 90s efforts.

Christine: Warm Ways, Only Over You, Wish You Were Here
Lindsey: That's All for Everyone, Oh Diane, Come
Stevie: Welcome to the Room... Sara, No Questions Asked, Silver Girl

This was surprisingly difficult. I'm largely indifferent to many of Lindsey's songs, but there are surprisingly few I can outright say I dislike.

Lindsey:
That's Enough For Me
Teen Beat
Say Goodbye

Christine:
Don't Stop
Only Over You
Mystified

Stevie:
The Second Time
Smile At You (just to clarify, this is the SYW version only. The demos are perfection. The album version is pure garbage)
Without You

I've become oddly fond of When I See You Again, destroyed voice and all. Ditto Silver Girl, the chorus is actually quite brilliant. (She was a hardcore/girlie girl... on the other hand, decidedly less so!)

I am very surprised by some of the suggestions that have come up.
I cannot fathom the dislike for Welcome to the Room ...Sara. I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I didnt think it would get so many votes (its probably amongst my favourite Stevie songs).
I am surprised Oh Diane hasnt featured more heavily and I'm bewildered by the apparent love for Empire State.

I think Christine is the most difficult as I think she's probably the most consistant with her songwriting.

I love Welcome to the Room...Sara. It's my favourite Stevie song from TITN, and though I think the production could have been better, the demo is divine, and is really a stand out for me. Oh Diane is my least favourite Mirage song, but Empire State has grown on me slightly. I love these threads though because it shows how diverse this group really is.

There's really very few I hate from any of these three. I found Christine the most difficult for some reason. Am always bewildered by the hate of That's all for everyone, it's gorgeous. Always loved Empire State.

I think "That's All For Everyone" is gorgeous too. Amazing production on that one.

Actually that's the thing about Tusk...although its known for stripped down production on its songs, many of them like "That's All For Everyone," "Brown Eyes," "Storms," "Beautiful Child," "Tusk," and "Sara," actually have higher production than Rumours songs.

Christine
Only Over You (such an uninspired song)
Wish You Were Here (again, pretty poor)
Temporary One (sounds like it was written in 2 minutes, too bland)

Lindsey Buckingham
Not That Funny (a bit obnoxious)
Oh Diane
Red Rover

Stevie
Freedom
Affairs Of The Heart
Silver Girl

(except for the '90-'95 songs, of course they would fill Chris and Stevie's options!)

- Stevie: Beautiful Child, Storms, Thrown Down

- Christine: Oh Daddy, Sugar Daddy, Honey Hi

- Lindsey: Errr...

Default Lists!

LB:

Not That Funny (Live, it's fun, but on the album, meh)
Oh Diane
What's the World Coming To

SN:

When I See You Again
Silver Girl
Welcome to the Room...Sara (I like this song, but since Stevie's FM output is strong, it's one of her weakest amongst the FM songs)

CM:

Sugar Daddy
Warm Ways
Honey Hi
