Buckingham Nicks version, particularly live. Their voices are so gorgeous on it.

The original Buckingham Nicks gets my vote although I like the song in each interpretation. I thought Marilyn Martin did a great job and Stevie's backing vocals were spectacular. The TISL version was also a great surprise when Stevie kept the high notes, but even without them in the live versions, it still sounds great. Wouldn't it be great if some tapes surfaced with the Mac working on the song for the White Album (where it should have been placed)?

Gotta go with TISL version. Stevie's voice on the Buckingham Nicks demo is much better (obviously; she's a lot younger there) but TISL's 'Sorcerer' is graced with a great, great track, Sheryl's excellent harmony vocal and Stevie is still very much in fine voice, particularly on the verses.

The voices on the Buckingham Nicks demo (and live cuts from that time) push it over the top for me, but I also love a lot about the TISL version. I think I prefer the high harmony in the chorus over the lower melody, so when Stevie takes that part in the old demo and she sings the hell out of it, I really enjoy that more than in the TISL version where Sheryl Crow takes the high part at a softer volume. But otherwise I love them both, the dusty stompy pace of the BN version and the more liquid cool of the TISL version.

I voted for TISL but maybe I should have voted for soundstage. I think her voice had passion although not as smooth as the others. I can totally see how people would find her voice jarring, but I think she rocked the ending especially. Plus I loved Waddy's guitar licks. He really does add more to the live shows. Revamping the old songs.
