What a goooood show it was! Stevie sounded wonderful and I loved when she said, "Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles are the most important shows!"
She knows where her bread is buttered!

It was cool to hear "Outside the Rain" and the video was beautiful.

We even stayed for Rod...and were surprised that it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be.

Jennifer! It was so nice to meet you, and yes...it is worth it to travel a thousand miles to see Stevie, right?!?!

Thanks for posting . I thought that Rod and Stevie actually looked very comfortable with one another in this video. When Rod was looking for Stevie in the begining, did he ask if Stevie was still in the pub? I thought it was funny when Waddy pinched Rod's ass when he walked out for L&L, Stevie just kind of looked at Waddy like , OK, then Rod goes " I need a refreshment ", and just walks off. Ha Ha Ha. Sounding great and looking good. Love the curls too.

Some pics taken with my phone. I don't think it zooms so this is how far I actually was. I ended up in the 2nd row for most of Stevie's set right in front of her since the people in those seats were obviously there Rod which worked in my benefit. Stevie looks fantastic and sooo happy. When she said this last year working with Dave Stewart has been the best year of her life, I melted. She also dedicated Landslide to Dave. I was thrilled to hear Secret Love since it was the first time hearing her do it live. Edge was amazing, she had tons of enery. Love is was beautiful as usual and she did her trilogy speech before it. Although I'm not a big OTR fan it was a nice surprise since I didn't know she added it to the set. Most people were sitting in my section but I couldn't resist being up and dancing for at least half the songs. It was so obvious I was there for Stevie and didn't really care too much about Rod. Even when I was leaving this guy said "Hey, you're wearing the same outfit as Stevie and I'm all yeah, I'm a die-hard fan .

Lmao right?! I mean the lyrics aren't THAT complex, yet they just keep pulling these random words out of their ass!

They seem to be getting more comfortable with eachother. Stevie seems to be loosening up laughing at Rod taking off the imaginary lace undies lol

Yeah, resting her head back on his shoulder. Then, when she ran back to her mic, he pulled it down on the stand for her. Nice little gestures.

Some lady in the audience gave Rod her boots. Yellow cow boy boots. She gave them one at a time, one at the beginning and one a 4-5 songs later. It made me laugh thinking that anyone who has a problem with Stevie's Reeboks, should just bring her suggested footwear to the concert and give it to her in lieu of flowers.

Of course, Rod's fan got to come on stage to retrieve her boots, so they weren't a gift to him, but that doesn't mean Stevie couldn't keep hers.

Rod forgot the words to Some Guys Have All the Luck and said it was because all of the illegal smoking in the audience was making him giddy. He just started the song over again, video and all. But it was strange to me, because as soon as he stopped singing the music stopped playing and they restarted the video right on cue too. It's like they expected him to break.

I didn't dislike his show, but it's for singing along and dancing. It's not for feeling anything. Even when his recorded songs have sentiment, live he just breezes through that. It's fun, but rather frothy.
