Loves me some Pat, though. I'm on board with that pairing.
Agreed! Stevie with Pat = INCREDIBLE. Add in Joan, Debbie Harry or even Donna Summer and that would be great too. None of these famous gals are one hit wonders. Though, I guess technically SS & S&P did have more than one hit, but they don't deserve to be lumped into the same show as the former mentioned artists or Stevie! I have some trepidation about this O show, ultimately, I know, it's a good thing for publicity. I just hope they showcase Stevie and her career very positively and mention her new album prominently, and not present her as a has been. It would be cool if this airs close to IYD release date or preferably the week of IYD to catapult 1st week album sales too.

Not gonna lie, I'm kind bummed I haven't heard anything back yet!

Although with Oprah, you just never know- they could show up the day before the whole thing!!

Exactly. Lumping her with some has-beens makes it seem like she's a has-been too with nothing new to offer.

Her appearing on Oprah is a huge thing for her career and us fans watching and is a big deal in and of itself so I'm thankful for that. I just hope she makes the most of this opportunity to shine for the masses and not just let this slip under the rug as simply another show, another interview. If I were her I would go all out, even if she doesn't sing, dress the part Stevie! With her iconic status she could stand out next to all of the others without even doing anything really if she displays herself right.

I heard Pat & Stevie will be on one show & Sister Sledge & Salt -N-Pepa will be on another but they're both being taped in one day!

I love that Idea! Pat is great although HEART would be even cooler!

LOL well I'm not dreaming that far.... but she could still dress that part and not even have to sing a lick. Next to all the others the few who've never heard of her (I know, unlikely huh, but still it happens ) because then people will wanna know who that woman is. Trust me we know it.

I think the show is going to be called "Friends and Fans of Rock and Roll".

I actually want her to come out like that or in her white getup she had during 2008, or something new and very Stevie. But if she comes out in her italian granny dress/frankenboks/thing she wore to glee I will be pissed!

I wrote this on March 23, 2010 on Sevenwonders and still think it would be like this providing she wears some of her very best for people.

7W- Oprah being a diva herself, I always picture her making over Stevie's clothes (you just know she would) and sitting there tugging at Stevie's skirt and imagine the conversation about those boots. That is, providing she even dressed up. I think Oprah would absolutely love Stevie Nicks and there'd be lots to talk about.

I only hope she dresses all up for this big occasion and treats it as so. I'd love it if she wore her beautiful stuff such as this

I'm so excited for Oprah now.... probably more than I am for the royal wedding.

It looks like April will have 2 days that I call in for everything, and then May 3rd... eeeee, all this excitement is not good for my life.
