Hi Chris, my name is Mark =]

If she hits #1 this week, it's her sixth #1 album ever, I think? That's pretty impressive, all her Studio album apart from Blackout have hit #1.

I really can't get over how much better this is than Circus. I wish Britney would start to take creative control over her music again though, in her newest video, she just looked so dead behind the eyes

I heard she totally sucked on 'GMA'!

She looked like sh*t!

This is coming from a bunch of Madonna fans!

People have been saying the same things about Britney since day 1. I think by now people should realize the following things:

-Britney lip syncs
-Britney doesn't write most of her music
-Britney either dances amazing, or flops
-No matter what we still love her, and it's called being a Britney fan

I made this thread for fans that were excited for Femme Fatale, which is truly a great album. I would recommend watching the GMA performance for yourself, because I really didn't see anything off about it

I totally agree with you! I like Britney!

I love when fans show their passion for the ones they love!

Casual Brit fan here. I only have a handful of her CDs that I have received as free promos. I’ve actually never listened to a full Britney CD, with the exception of “The Singles” that came out last year I think it was. I like Brit and I’m rooting for her but there is no denying the fact that Brit’s heart is not in this right now and hasn’t really been since about 2004/05. I read a recent AOL article about Brit and her recent GMA performance and they pointed out that she has not danced with any conviction since the “Do Something” video and they are right. Brit seems lifeless on stage, as if she is just going thru the motions. I feel for her because I know she is a mega talent but it’s just not happening for her at this time. The music is ok, I enjoy “Trip To Your Heart” and one of the bonus songs on the deluxe version which is “Up N’ Down” but overall, I’m not feeling a lot of growth. I think she is actually just plain tired of doing what she’s been doing. Look at this, Brit had her first greatest hits CD at the age of 25, which is how old Stevie was when Buckingham/Nicks was released. At the age of 27, Brit’s life was in shambles, Stevie was just becoming well known with the first FM album. Much like young athletes that start out very young to hopefully earn that gold medal at the Olympics and then retire at the old age of “20”, this is what Brit’s life has been like. She’s done so much before most musicians even get started. I feel like she’s never had a life of her own really. My heart goes out to her. I think she is simply tired but she has to go on because there are people counting on her. I wish she could be allowed to grow as an artist instead of having the pressure she is now dealing with, which is to compete with the RiRi’s and the Gaga’s (UGH). Anyway, I’m rambling, I just feel for Brit and I hope she can come out of this haze she is in and really find herself.

I frequent a Spice Girls () message board, and the gay bitch fights on there are epic. Lady Gaga vs. Madonna vs. Britney vs. Rihanna vs. Beyonce vs. Shakira vs. Floptina (Aguilera). It's funny just because it's so ridiculous.

Thanks for posting that! I needed a good laugh!

This place is depressing to me for some reason. :/

There's something about Britney that is so likable. I just see her walking candidly down the street looking like a regular girl in some Uggs and want nothing but good things for her. It's ridiculous that the media/paparazzi hound her and the like when they are down and no one ever has much empathy to maybe back off and rationalize that this is just a 20-something chick who never really had a normal life trying to...live the way she knows how. Yes, she chose to go into this field and I understand it comes with the territory, but there are lines you just don't cross. The fact that they all stood there gawking and crowding as she was having a meltdown to such an extent was just...despicable.

Anyway, I obviously am not a huge fan of her music but I work out to this type of music so it fills an extremely valuable place in my life. I think she seems sweet and love her bangin' body.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents.

I know exactly what you mean here! My friend and I were discussing Britney the other week, and we were both like... you just want to see her do well, you get all "You go girl!" when she's successful

I think it's because those memories of her darker umbrella-wielding days are still very fresh in people's minds. The thing that was so spectacular about Britney's breakdown was just how public it was; not to mention shocking. When Charlie Sheen started acting crazy... eh. But when Britney did it, it was genuinely shocking.

After a week (?) of listening to it.
I love almost all of the tracks. Great album.

Never really liked new Millennium Brit, with all the auto-tune- she was a hottie though back in the day! Haven't heard much from her younger sister these days either!

Yeah, weirdly I had no sympathy at all for him. In fact, I can't stand that vile man in any way. His show sucked. His acting sucked. He isn't funny or real or anything. He's a hot mess and he's got a ton of little kids that are the only victims in his whole...situation.

But with BS it's like...she was sort of brought up by the media and they loved and exploited her and then they turned their back on her and really dug the knife in the way they treated her meltdown. She seems like a genuinely sweet, albeit ditzy girl. I like her. And I don't just like random people who have good dance songs.
