I have way too much time on my hands but this is priceless listening to her and Mick argue. "Bull****!" says Stevie. Poor thing bored stiff in her hotel room lol. Snippy little thing isn't she? I sense some flirtation between the 2 of them quite frankly. Anybody want to guess what year this is?

They really do squabble just like a family, don't they? Were they all in the car together? It starts out with Mick trying to tell Chris a story and Stevie continually interrupting, but later Stevie tells John that he's right. Can anyone make out if Lindsey was in the limo too?

I want to guess 1976. At the very end, Christine may reveal the year by what she says that I can't quite make out: "Do you mind if I don't do Zen-Dee tonight?' It is at the last 2 seconds of this recording. Now, if 'Zen Dee' was a song, it could reveal the year, if I could only make out what she asks not to "do tonight"- 'cause it sounds like a song reference. Of course, it's not 'Zen Dee' that she speaks, but it sure sounds like a song she hopes the band will let her cut.
They all sound loaded and high- but SN does seem to get on everyone's nerves! Kind of a take-charge little gal- Mick almost sounds like he's berating her intelligence "it's called decorum" when she keeps interrupting him. Somehow, I think it's first tour stuff, I think he became more respectful (tolerant?) of how much she meant to the band's popularity after 'Dreams' so I'm guessing pre-1977. It was fun to listen to, thanks. It's funny, a bit, how none of them seem to like SN much, though truthfully, SN is a little obnoxious sounding here- but, adorable sounding, too. She does seem to reach out to Christine for help at one point, when Mick is being particularly, uh, British with her! Last edited by Nikolaj; 02-25-2011 at 09:51 AM.. |

I am going to take a guess that its 1979 or 1980 during the Tusk Tour. when this conversation took place.

You know, we don't believe Christine really when she says that Oh Daddy is for Mick, but she actually does relate to Mick like he's her father in some of these glimpses into their candid exchanges.
There's also that video from their tour when Lindsey leaves to eat and she asks Mick why she has to stay for the interviews, if Lindsey gets to go. She's practically tugging on Mick's arm like a little girl. Michele |

What I'd like to know is, why was Mick taping this conversation in the first place? Seems kind of weird and creepy.
