So I read Kathryn (Sahara)'s Facebook status announcing the title and release date, immediately ran to my school's library (I was walking to class when I saw the status) and now I'm sitting here amongst 50+ students who are actually doing schoolwork... as I squeal about Stevie. Typical.

ANYWAY.... I really like the title as well, but only because I initially read it to be sassy. Stevie and sass are my two favorite things, so I can totally approve of this idea. But it still has the whimsical quality that we need to feel like Stevie titled it herself!

I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited.

The title is like others said, too cliche. I can name plenty of songs named In Your Dreams, and that is a first for Stevie.

'In Your Dreams' reminds me of the way 'Bella Donna' was marketed in the UK (maybe everywhere?) back in the day.

They had ads in the music press that said 'Rumour has it there's a new Stevie Nicks album', hence triggering the association with FM via 'Rumours' (but you knew that).

What was funny, though, was that Ellen Foley (the woman who sang all those duets with Meatloaf on 'Bat Out of Hell') had had a solo album out a little bit before that that had the tagline 'Who the Hell is Ellen Foley?', which I don't think worked all that well.

Clearly it's an old tactic, but I figure SN should use every trick there is to get this album seen and heard, so I'm fine with it.

With a May 3rd release date. I reason we're still a month or 2 away from seeing a 1st single drop I hope I'm wrong. Now I really want the track list revealed. I curious to see what old vault song(s) besides Annabel Lee she recorded.

Well, Dave Stewart said on Twitter that it's a possibility that Stevie's single cover could be revealed on Ellen tomorrow, but he's not sure yet.

Maybe the title will change - I'm not that sold on it to be honest but I can live with it for the fact tht we finally have a date! If it starts to get pushed back again though... aggghhh! I should be happier but I'm still a little cautious. It is exciting though!!
