Really wish i went to see SYW tour... although LB performed Come on GOS tour so guess there is hope he'll do either of these songs if he tours again.

Seriously? Look at the trends...

Last night it was very close votes, and I check this morning to see "Thrown Down" with twice the votes of "Steal Your Heart Away"!

Actually one thing I've noticed in all these battles is that the first 10 or so votes cast tend to go to the song that won't actually win...

Very ISA, to me. And Lindsey just tacked it on and even said, "I'm stealing from myself."

I know it isn't anything special, and I can't even love it the same anymore now that I know the song's story

I have no recollection of Murrow being played on the SYW tour. "Come" was great live; so much better than the album version.

Have we been reading the same board for the past 8 years?

My commenting on my surprise with Ledgies chosing middle-of-the-road pop tunes as their favs from Say You Will is derived from my 10 years of experience here. Ledgies love the wilder Mac moments... the Rosebud Rhiannon, the Mirage Sisters Of The Moon. It just baffles me that in turn they prefer this Adult Contemporary fluff from Say You Will over the more rocking songs, that's all. To each their own, of course. I respect all opinions. It just seems what Ledgies say they value isn't necessarily equating with the way they're voting here, and that's all I was pointing out.

Sing is the key word here. Anyone?
Just as much as Lindsey ever has, I guess.

This whole thing has been quite interesting. Certain songs I thought would do well, didn't and vice versa. Only a few of my favorites have progressed forward in the battle. But that's the whole purpose of the "Battle of the Songs" to find out what is that #1 Favorite FM song.

See what happens on Dec 3rd when the winners start battling!

Generally, the poppy and accessible songs have usually prevailed in these types of "competitions." In fact, I believe "Steal Your Heart Away" won one of these before. I remember during that epic "Tusk Survivor" game all the Lindsey fans were peeved his experimental stuff was repeatedly voted off. We all took things so seriously on here then.

Yeah I saw that stuff. I wasn't a Ledgie then or even a FM fan back then, but it was one of the reasons I wanted to do a full scale discussion/battle of the FM catalog. And doing it by vocalists, giving each vocalist 1 song in the album battles.

Tusk survivor. What won?

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I remember that. Things were so deliciously bitchy back then.

I get where you're coming from. I think most of us long for the days when she would belt out Rhiannon or Sisters of the Moon. Alas, getting older sucks more d*** than a brothel.

Just like I wish Lindsey would stop the whispery Under the Skin vocals, it probably won't happen.
