"Blue Water" lyric mystery...

I've been listening to this demo for years...one of my favorites...but I've always had a problem trying to understand one particular line...

Blue water...i sit and i wait for the morning to come...blue water...
and i wait for the sound of my gypsy...blue water
(here's where it gets confusing)
...I blah blah blah blah...hidden out of sight...blue water...

Now all the lyrics posted on various websites list it as being, "I sit out each night, hidden out of sight..." but that is obviously NOT what she is saying. If you listen carefully, you'll notice that the syllables are all wrong for it to be "I sit out each night".

The only thing that I can seem to make out is, "I sih nahnay flah" LOL!

Can someone please help me with this? It's been driving me crazy for YEARS! So much that I've even busted out the headphones, cranked the volume (even on the crisp, clear master demo) and rewound the one line over and over again to try to make sense of what it is. HELP!
