First, very cool of Michelle Tyler to introduce herself here. She wears the whole Stevie mystique like a perfectly fitted lace glove.

Second, TanyaTampa777, your memory is good, Stevie did indeed make a surprise vist to the stage at a Rick Vito show in Nashville. (I read it on the myspace page of Danny Darling, who was Rick's drummer at the time -- he says she 'finished out the set' with them.) He says Billy B. and Bekka Bramlett also came up to the stage that night, which makes me wonder if Stevie and Bekka were actually singing together?

Third,

What? Huh? Where did this come from? More info please? I figured Mick was working on a new album with his blues band.

Good, now that Mick's big mouth is involved in things, maybe we'll get some non-Dave Stewart information on what exactly is on tap.

It originally didn't say "tribute artist" - just Stevie Nicks. I sent them a letter about this whole thing the day the article came out and it appears they have changed it since then, which is good.

I didn't kick my sister's butt TOO hard. I just hated posting something on the Ledge that wasn't legit.

Hi All:

Thanks Old Timer...nice to meet you too.
I have it from a source that is close friends with Mick that he is working with Stevie on an album right now in LA. This is trusted information.

Awesome! Wish I could have been there! I wonder what the set and singing duties were that night. Maybe Bekka covered Heaven Is A Place On Earth . I doubt it, but that would have been cool so see Stevie sing backup on that, harmonizing the "Heaven" background vocals.

Don't feel bad A similar thing happened to me a few 4th of july's ago.

My cell phone rang off the hook telling me that Stevie was here in good 'ol Bubank (home of Jay Leno and Ellen shows) playing at our local summer amphitheater shows.

I remember thinking...uh uh...no way. Some friends of mine were there and swore it was her. They even got a pic afterwards.

THe next day I look at this pic to see that it was indeed, Bella Donna.

I told them.....Come on guys....you can't tell the real Stevie from an impersonator??? LOL

I look alot like Stevie Nicks...I get it all the time!

I think Michelle Tyler is a great tribute artists I do not see her as a dead ringer for Stevie Nicks Michelle Tyler still has her own vocal style different from Stevie's I can not see where people would think she would be an exact dead ringer for Stevie to get confused. Michelle Tyler is an excellent Tribute To Stevie and Michelle has her own style vocally. It is cool to see a Stevie Tribute Artists at a Fireworks Festival wish I was there to see the show.

I totally agree!! Bella Donna is not the average tribute band....they become Stevie/The Mac!! I have seen them 5 or 6 times. They are amazing! I just don't think it's right to announce her as Stevie when she walks on stage
