I'm sure that she didn't have to collaborate with Kenny G. but probably wanted to. He's a very talented and well-respected(well, perhaps, not here) musician.

Cheeky, cheeky.

To Stevie's defense, that's why the songs are demos. The dreadful ones that are being criticized are the ones that did NOT make it to any album.

As a songwriter myself, I would cringe to know people were listening to my unfinished, unproduced demos.

Still, I'm scratching my head over why the demo Mirror, Mirror never made it to one of her albums.

Just don't let Stevie catch you listening to them - she'll turn you to stone!

cool! Are there any other sites with demos on them like that? Maybe I can find some that are better quality than some of the ones I have. It's been a long time since I've listened to or found newer/better versions of demos.

I kind of like Tragedy of One's Own Soul, but I'm not sure why. It has those lyrics that are too wordy and don't flow well, which she seemed to really get a lot into after RAL it seems. And I never am a fan of that. But for some reason I like this song. I guess it's the very lonely, sad feeling to it. Had it been worked out more, I think it could have been a decent song for an album. I like the Kenny G demos. I am not a fan of that kind of clarinet music, but the demos are very emotional and I kind of like them. Kind of sobering. And kind of paints a picture of SN at that time.

I seriously LOVE that demo, even though it's more like a finished song really. That 'Street Angel' era recording is especially great.
