That's exactly what I mean!

We already know his solo song Johnny Stew is written about John Stewart. I need to research the whole story of John with Lindsey and Stevie more. Obviously I've heard Gold, and knew Lindsey really looked up to John and the Kingston Trio, and that he sang at John's funeral last year. Other than that, I don't know a whole lot.
Lindsey grew up being a fan of John's and John ended up becoming a fan of Lindsey's. John made several lovely interview comments about Lindsey. Very beautiful.

My vote for Stevie's best vocal is her live Sin City Las Vegas 1977 (sorry, I've forgotten the date) version of Rhiannon. She shreds it. I've never heard anything like it.

Runners up...

• the plain ol' Rumours version of Dream
• the demo version of That's Alright (Designs of Love)
• Space Needle
• the plain ol' Tusk versions of Beautiful Child and Angel
• the Dance version of Silver Springs

This take of "Julia" not making it on an album is as much of a crime as Silver Springs IMO... it's one of my fav vocals

Also,

-Wild Heart (favorite album cut of Stevie's)

-Bella Donna (second favorite)

-Sleeping Angel

-Gold and Braid (HBO/Enchanted)

As far as the last decade or so:
-At Last from Stormy Weather... It's one of my favorite live cuts from Stevie
-If You Ever Did Believe from Practical Magic

Yes and yes. Yes! How did I forget Insider from PutP? I love that version so much.

I wanted to include all of these, but my list would have been miles long if I listed all the songs I had thought of. Almost all of her BN vocals are perfection; I would add Races Are Run to the list, too.
