Well, right after SYW he talked about working on a new album from the ground up, creating songs together with the intention that they become FM tunes. But I suppose that's not even a pipe dream anymore. Michele

IMO, Sheryl would change the whole outlook of Fleetwood Mac, and not, if I'm completely honest, for the better. She's talented, no denying it, but the thought of her onstage with Stevie makes me think there'd defnitely be a "them and us situation" between the two girls and the three guys... Which would suck, and ruin the chemistry. Let her play with Stevie and follow her around as long as she wants, but not with the Mac. Just, no.

I guess there's always a chance Madame Nicks will decide that that's what she wants to do, too. Quite honestly, I have no idea just what she wants from, or with, Fleetwood Mac at this point. The band (& all its history) seems to be her fix: She doesn't want it anymore but she can't walk away from it for good -- she is both repelled & pulled in. Her mind is a'dither.

I think it's the challenge.
She may fight with Lindsey to the bitter end, but she also knows he will challenge her. She is not Madame Nicks with him and never will be. Just like he's no visionary to her;-)
In any case, they push each other's buttons and push each other creatively. She might write and get an angry song out of it--but at least she's getting a song OUT (and I think she knows that on some level).

I wish they'd perform the song Twisted. It was in a famous movie that did well at the box office and because they are in a band together wouldn't it be great to hear an actual duet between these two?
