Well, for most of the SYW shows I went to, I sat in the cheaper seats. However in San Diego in 2003 I had a $50 ticket but at about 6PM I went up to the ticket window at the Sports Arena and was able to get a front row seat.

During SYW tour, I went through EZticketsearch.com...
Paid $525 (2 tickets) for 11th row center for Champaign, IL show and $835 (2 tix) for front row just a few seats right of center for the Sioux City, IA show...was standing under Linds' mic the whole time!!!

1st LA show...I paid TM 120ea for 13th.
2nd LA show...I paid TM 80ea (presale) for 6th.

ohyea advice.... I generally wait until a few days, sometimes a week, before show to check TM. You do though take a risk of a show selling out, but I have found TM does not put the best seats up until sale enddate approaches. A good rule of thumb...remain calm...do not be one of those who panics to make purchase too early, only to be stuck with seats when something better comes along to purchase or left with cryingeyes imagining 'what could have been if only'...goodluck.
