What I said was straight out of any undergrad textbook, which I would assume that the people on this thread could understand, but I guess I overestimated my audience, which is why you are attacking me and not my argument. The issue in this thread is Palin is lying c*nt who thinks she has a pipeline to Jusus' teachings when her apparent lack of compassion and outright lies indicate she has none of the above.

Yet, she promises to cut taxes so people like you love her. Never mind that Greenspan, who I suggest knows more than you, me, and everyone on this board cubed knows, said America will have to go deeper into debt to pay for them. Moreover, despite these phantom tax cuts, Palin is for more govt. invasion into our personal lives, which you have professed to be vehemently against.

Those are the issues in this thread.

What I'm more concerned about is a tax increase. I agree that we are spending into oblivion, but if we change our spending habits first, we change the shape of the Laffer curve so that tax cuts may have a revenue increasing effect by more dollars being counted as income. Greenspan would be welcome over Bernanke.

The real world - live in it - they are never going to cut spending no matter what they (all of them) say.
